My E815 Motorola phone is stuck on the HELLOMOTO bootup screen. I'd like to revive the phone one last time to extract some numbers, etc.

Have you tried to remove battery? Have you already got another phone? You can get the numbers from your old or same carrier.

My razor has a blue screen that says bootloader usb init. The only responds I get is when I push the off button, then it goes to the hellomoto screen, and then back to the bootloader screen.

This is a generic problem of Motorola RAZR V3. This is a common problem caused in this phone when you are out of Warrenty and the at the same time there was a software upgrade on the Motorola site. This screen came because the phone was blocked from upgrading due to your out-dated Warrenty ( Because only phones having Warrenty can upgrade in Motorola ). This problem can sometimes be resolved by performing a Motorola Software Upgrade. It can be done using the PC Suite. This problem can't be resolved by yourself, you have to take it to a service center. You go to : http://direct.motorola.com/hellomoto/support/update/
For the motorola software upgrade. You can identify your phone's upgrades, models, etc at : http://servicemyphone.motorola.com/iden/support/unitSearchGeneral.do Thank you Sir, Have a nice day.

My phone will not come on at all untill i plug it up, then it will only show a moto displaying blue screen bootloader usb

you need to turn off the phone then hold the pound and star keys and the power button untill that screen comes on again and then just turn it off and turn it on again the normal way and it should be fixed

Frozen ''hellomoto'' screen on Razor V3c when turning on phone

your firmware is corrupt, the only way to revive your phone is re flashing it.Its hard to do, and by doing it wrong may damage your phone. To safely retrieve your phone is let the experts do it or go to a near cell repair shop and let them help you out,

if you want to do it your self, try this

first you need is a RSD lite program or flash and back-up to flash or reformat your Motorola,

to enter the bootloader

hold * then the # then power button, your phone will boot to bootloader, and you will see there the flash program of your phone,

start the program rsd lite or flash and backup
then connect it to your computer VIA usb, automatically the program will detect your phone,

i prefer that you first buck up your firmware by using F&B (Flash and backup) then use RSD lite to flash your Motorola,

RSD lite its much easier to use than F&B, but for safety backup first your firmware,

When turned phone on,the hellomoto comes on

and then to the BOOTLOADER blue screen. Means your phone has lost its firmware.. Take it to your SP and have them reflash it.

Bootloader USB INIT

Same thing today. Can't get it to turn on, charge or anything. I was warned not to get this phone by Alltel, that there was major problems with it, they even showed me a memo sent around to all dealers. That due to all the problems with the phone that it would be cheaper to replace/try to repair...then recall. I heard that newer versions of this phone are better, minw has been ok until now...mfg.date 2/07...
