1st - Place the SD card in the phone. 2nd - Adjust the setting to save Pictures, Video, Music to the SD card by going to Settings and tools > Memory > Save Options. 3rd. Remove the SD card from the phone and connect to PC. Now on the PC you will see the phone has created folders for you "Music". 4th - Drag your music files into the correct folders (ie music, pictures, etc). 5th Place SD card back in LG Envy 2 and enjoy the music.

Cant get my env3 to sync music to my pc

you have to import your files when you just first plug it in its file should pop up with the picture of the phone and go down to import files and your music should be on your computer now.

I bought an LG envy3 and downloaded LG outlook sync. The program works okay- but the computer doesn't recognize that the phone is connected via its USB. The music sync function works, the computer...

Music player must be closed and not running in the background when you attempt to sync. Basically you have 2 programs on your computer trying access the phone at the same time. Get the Full User Guide from LG, and set it to "prompt for Mass Storage mode," instead of "Always allow," - and when the media player comes-up on the computer, Deny or say NO, which will let you synchronize.

My memory card wont work !

You have to install the USB sync drivers from your supplied CD-ROM before you can sync music.
Then select the "Music" option this will likely give you a prompt on your computer as to what to do next...

Nope

you have to install the driver for the phone so it can sync it to your file program this requires you to have a cd that goes with the model of your phone. i have a samsung with a 2gig chip that stores music and i had to do this inorder to upload or download music files trust me i will give you the right answers that you need.

Trouble downloading music to my enV

that was the same problem for me. when you download that vcast software dont use there program. use windows media player 9. that has worked best for me. ive tried the latest window media player out and it doesnt seem to work. but if you use 9 you can go to sync with your phone connected. and you always have to make sure that you go to settings and tools on your phone. then go to call settings and then you should see pc connections and when you get to that you should see usb and you click on that and it should say pc connection set. hopefully any of those options i gave you work out.

Problems with LG enV VX9900 music uploading

I found the solution.

First let me say that calling Verizon tech support is a frustrating process to say the least. I have spent hours on the phone with three different reps, all with different levels of knowledge on the subject. But I'm beginning to digress - Bottom line, calling Verizon tech support is hit-or-miss.

After multiple attempts of installing and uninstalling the rhapsody software, the vcast software and the phone drivers onto my laptop with and without the phone plugged in, I was still not getting my phone to connect. So after I was just about through with Verizon reps, I called Rhapsody tech support, and they insisted it was a phone issue. Having no where else to turn, I drove to the verizon store to DOWNGRADE the phone to something simpler, when their highly trained personnel actually diagnosed the problem.

Turns out the nothing was wrong with my laptop, or wire, or USB, but rather the only way to get the phone to connect was to bring it to the store and have VERIZON update the software on it. You cannot do this over the airways using 228. They must do it there. Actually, there have been four updates to this phone's software since I bought it only 4 months ago (I had version "4" and they are up to version "8"). After the software update, the phone connected and now I am able to drag and drop to the phone shown in the same pane as "my library."

Save some time - bring it to the store.
