Enough with the ******** questions on here... i have a CDX-c6750 sony explod that came out of a 2000 Ford focus special edition. the wiring harness in back is not red, black, and yellow, its a little more complicated than that.. im looking for the memory wire color... everything else works great. just no memory

change the fuse behind the system. "so he hooked it up to the left front speaker wire, then found the remote
turn on wire and hooked it up to it." will have burned the sound system or not. remove the new installation, test it, reinstall, test again.
Guessing that you don't still have the owners/install manual.
On the back of the head unit there should be a group of unused/unconnected wires (with any luck they will be marked), one or more might be an amp turn-on or power antenna lead, so I suggest (with the unit turned on) testing each wire with a DC voltage tester so as to identify and separate any leads supplying 12+ volts. the remaining group will consist of speaker leads. Trial and error testing will determine the proper L & R rear speaker leads.
