Lanier ld151 trouble shooting with scanner issue

Lanier doesn't seem to have specific drivers for windows 8.1, but you may be able to use the windows 7 drivers, here:

Clean the **** glass. It is a long skinny glass to the left of the big rectangular glass under the feeder. Clean it and your problem should go away.

You can try running the scanner diagnostics to see if there is hardware issue. Also check your USB cable. In my case running diagnostics managed to fix the issue.

are you able to scan from the computer? check your USB cable and ports.

5 short beeps is a process failure, but that could be anything. Here is a page you can get more tips on trouble shooting this error

Go to the above site and download your software and a manual, the manual tells you exactly how and what to do.

Hi ,

No worries..

Follow this trouble shooting steps:

Option:1

Connect Scanner bed and turn it ON.
Open MS Paint
Click on File.
Click on From Scanner and Camera.
Now click on Scan
Your issue should resolve.

Option:2

Click on Start >> Control Panle >> Scanner and Camera >> Add Imaging Device >> Add appropreate or nearest Model.

Then try to scan your issue should resolve.

If this issue still persists please let me know the Model.
