Whirpool Duet Sport Washer still making noise now it s leaking

The Whirpool Duet Washer Sport is still making the funny noise during the spin cycle, now it is leaking water out of the bottom, it is not all the water in the tub, but it is leaking . I have turned it to rinse & spin no leak, then to drain and spin, no leak, so I am like maybe it is something crazy. I do what someone suggested, and tapped the place at the top of the washer where the noise is coming from, not quite as bad, but it is still there now with a leak.......PLEASE HELP SOON

Well the funny noise is gone, we removed the bottom cover and then cleaned some filter, there was a necklace, screws, bits, money and some other stuff. Now we just have to figure out the water thing

No water spots on the back panel, took the front bottom cover off and you can see where water is leaking around the cement weight . I have checked the seal I can't see where it is torn or where it could be leaking from. Do you have any more suggestions?

Make sure to look really close all it takes is alittle whole in that seal anywhere to cause a leak try to look close while it is running but first dry everything you can and then run it. also make sure your door glass is clean if it is leaking down the front just alittle dirt or hair can cause a leak aswell

The symptoms that you describe are caused by bearing failure. The water seal in the wash tub has failed, allowing water to leak into the bearing causing the bearings to rust. As the bearings start to rust, they will not roll properly and start to make a rumbling sound. The sound get louder the faster the bearing turns.
It a major job to repair since the washer has to be taken apart and the wash drum needs to be removed to replace the seal and bearings. Get a few estimates before deciding whether the washer is worth the cost to repair or replace. Sorry.

Whirlpool Duet Sport not running it makes clicks and it grinds

A common problem with noises from washing machines has been the under wire that may come out of small clothes. In the washer they can get stuck in one of the inner basket holes and make a scrapping noise, they can actually make there way into the pump and jam the pump, or make a terrible noise when the pump is running. Grab a flash light and have a peek inside the washer for this. Front load washers seem very common to this happen! If the tiny cloth is showing signs of fraying, may be best not to wash it in the washing machine, replace the cloth.=======
It's noisy Most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping during the spin, the load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.
