Programming should be done from the M7310, M7324 or the T7316E set.
Administration access code: Feature * * 2 3 6 4 6 which also is Feature * * A D M I N. If asked for a password enter the same 2 3 6 4 6.
If that doesn't work you may have the newer Compact ICS or the Modulur 0x32 control unit wish will be Feature * * 8 4 6 3 which is T I M E. Password is 2 2 7 4 2 which is B A S I C or A D M I N which is 2 3 6 4 6.
When in programming just press the (next) button until you see what you want to change. Then press (show),then (change) if you want to change it. If you pass it, just press (back)
Example: To change the Time & Date Press (next) until you see Time & Date. Then (show) Then (change) Then (change) again, change it if you need to, Then (next) again until you see what you need to change. For example; only the hour needs to be changed for day light savings time. Just press (next) until you come to the (Hour). Then Change it. Then press release (RLs) when your done.
To get out of programming, just press the release button (RLs).

Hi Amy, you can change the name for an extension, but it will change the name for the extension for all the phones.
It is best to do programming on a T7316, M7310, or an M7324
1. Feature **23646
2. Password: 266344

3. Scroll to General Admin
4. Go to Names
5. Select Set Names
6. Enter in the DN of the extension you would like to change
7. Use the dial pad to change the extension.
8. Press Rls when finished (handset with arrow facing down)
If your phone system has 6.1 software or up then yes,the tech or vendor can program it for you. If you know how to program look under Config/Lines for Ring Type.
There is another way, do a FEATURE * * 2 6 6 3 4 4
Password is ADMIN (23646)
Then you will need the template:
You should see TERMINALS&SETS:
Press the Enter
SHOW SET:___ enter the extension
Press the Enter
Keep hitting NEXT till the name shows up and press change
Type in the new name
and press NEXT to save the change
Hit RLS to exit programming
1. Press the Rls button then ** FEATURE 266344 (CONFIG)
2. Password is 23646 (ADMIN) The display reads Terminals & Sets
3. Press SHOW ans enter the Extension for which you want to enter a name.
4. Press SHOW, again
5. Press the NEXT key until the display reads NAMES at the top left corner.
6. The bottom right corner reads CHANGE, press the far right soft key.
7. To move from one letter to the next use the far right and far left soft keys or the # key.
8. When you are finished Press next.
9. Press the HEADING key to get back to TERMINALS & SETS and start again!
Navigation Keys: Line 1 = HEADING Speed Dial = SHOW
Line 2 = BACK Last No. = NEXT
This can only be done from the main handset and only one at a time. The Soft Keys are the three small buttons right bellow the screen.
