SOURCE: dacor single oven flashes an F2 error code and won't stop beeping!!!

This is from manufacture service manual:

-F2- Alarm Heating Mode High Temperature
Is activated when the ERC senses a runaway heat condition or when the temperature exceeds
“runaway limits”. The ERC will beep until the cancel or another function is selected. If the alarm
repeats the F2 alarm check the oven sensor and wiring after fi rst checking for a stuck relay. If alarm
goes away verify the oven will complete a clean cycle without any type of failure.
Another words the problem with oven sensor or relay board.

SOURCE: Dacor error codes

HI. the F-1 code is a System Watchdog Circuit failure code.

Press "Cancel", if beeping continues after 30 seconds, replace the main control board (also called clock or ERC).

Concerning the F-5 code. This is an oven temp sensor failure code. have it replaced asap. ((Check the wiring leading to and from the control and sensor for cracks and fouled structure. if the wiring is bad, replace the harness as well)),

SOURCE: Dacor double oven, lower oven works fine, upper

I had the same problem after auto-cleaning my oven just before Thanksgiving. The cause was overheating...and the tripping of a heat sensor switch.

The switch (reset button) is located about 3 inches behind the door locking mechanism.

Removing the front panel (4 screws) that the door lock sticks through exposes the switch. Just push the little red button & your are back in business!!

Have Dacor wall oven ECS130SBK . The time is correct but to the right it says OFF in red. How do I fix it?

If your Dacor wall oven displays "OFF" in red, it means that the oven is not turned on or is in standby mode. To turn on the oven, follow these steps:
  1. Press the "Bake" or "Convection Bake" button.
  2. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired temperature.
  3. Press the "Start" button to begin preheating the oven.
If the oven still displays "OFF" after following these steps, try turning the power to the oven off for a few minutes and then turning it back on. If the issue persists, there may be a problem with the oven's control board or wiring and you may need to contact a qualified appliance repair technician for further assistance.

My dacor microwave convection oven won't turn or heat but but the exhaust, time etc. works.

I found the answer on other posts on this website and it saved me $500! I had the same problem with my Dacor Model ECD2278 double oven. After I ran the self cleaning the top oven would not come on and the lower oven ran almost double the temp that was set. To fix: disconnect power to the oven at the circuit breaker. Open the oven door. You'll see the grille/grate/steel cover in front of the door latch mechanism, and it should have about 4 screws holding it in place. Remove the screws then remove the grille cover. On my model the tiny red reset button was on the right side on top of a black plastic round piece which is about 1" in diameter. Press the little button down til it clicks.

Dacor ECD230 Sabbath Mode

You don't need to do anything special.

Quoting from Daco.com FAQ

"In our ovens, the cooling and convection fans do not turn off when the oven door opens. The lights also do not turn on. There is no timed shutoff on our ovens, either, meaning that once they are turned on, they will stay on until you manually turn them off. Both of these would be considered violations. Our ovens do not have a special Sabbath button because our ovens already adhere to the laws. When the oven door is opened, there are no changes to the control panel, which would also be a violation. It is best to wait for the small "On" light with the circle around it to go on before opening the oven door, though. This light indicates that the element has gone on, as the oven cycles on and off to maintain the selected temperature. Opening the oven door without this light going on may trigger the element to go on, which can be a violation."
