Connect motorola 3360 to Linksys E4200

The DSL modem connects to the yellow port on the back of the router. Then the computer or other devices that aren't wireless are plugged into the blue ports. If it doesn't work, it's possible that your service provider doesn't recognize/accept the router. If not, contact them by phone and ask them to allow the connection.

Why does my DSL modem 3360 suffer from not wanting to go online and freeze ups.

Contact ARRIS for Consumers if you bought it retail. If you got it via AT&T they should take care of warranty support.

My at&t Motorola 3360 has every light blinking but is still working. The Power and DSL are continuously blinking red and the ethernet, internet and activity are all blinking green.

Hi,

Here's the thing...if the modem is unplugged, and you press the "Reset" button, or any button, nothing will happen because the modem is UNPLUGGED.

When you plug it in again, there is usually a few minutes or so during which time the lights will blink. Eventually, when the DSL connection is established, the blinking should decrease. But, there will always be some blinking going on to indicate that data is being transmitted.

If the "Ethernet" light is blinking, then a computer that is plugged into the router is transmitting/receiving data. If the "Wireless" light is blinking, then a computer that using a wireless connection to the router is transmitting/receiving data.

If a red light blinks, then that usually means the DSL connection has been broken. When that happens, for whatever reason, the modem will automatically begin its initialization routine and will continue to do so until connection has been established. During that time, LEAVE IT ALONE.

If you uplug the device, or if you press ANY button while the device is attempting to correct itself, you can cause permanent damage.

So, you are correct. It's not a problem. I'm sure you've heard the phrase "If it's not broken, then don't fix it." There's a lot of truth to that.

I hope this helps.

Can you help me connect my Zonet Wireless AP Router ZSR2104WE now that I have purchased a new modem (Motorola DSL Modem 3360)?

You must hook these particular items up in a specific sequence. First power down both the modem and the router, only connect the modem to the isp until all appropriate lights on on. Next plug cat 5 to router where it is labeled internet or wan if neither label then to #1. until alights come up on router. Hope this helps.

Dsl light goes beyween blinking green, then goes solid red, then back to blinking green. Cannot connect to internet anymore.

The modem cannot get a signal from your service provider. The DSL light is an indicator if your modem is communicating with the network of your service provider. DSL light should always stay solid green. Try contacting your service provider. It might also be an indication of a bad modem.

Computer repair tech said Linskey wireless caused internet prob

If you are using DSL as your internet connection there is a timeout period that could be setup in the linksys.

In order to change this you need to log into your router and on check on the setup page. You see the timeout option.

Check with your linksys manual for detailed instructions for logging into the unit. If you dont have it, you can always get it from their website.
