There were also a couple Mac specific solutions available (links look the same but are different). Both solutions are about prints being different than expected.
Go to paint create black, cyan, megenta & yellow images & print it, observe which colors are not printing,If back missed replace black cartrige, if any color missed out of remain three replace colour cartridge. There is no option to switch off the catridges & printer can recognise the faulty cartridge and it will show on displays. You can order cartridges online.
try printing the nozzle check page.. you will be able to see which color that is missing... it should have Yellow , Megenta, Cyan and Black... if any one of the color is missing.. try performing head cleaning and after twice cleaning and still no improvement, very high possibility your print head is clogged..
take out printheads. unplugg power cable from back press adn hold down 6 and # buttons on pritner at same time while holding them down plugg it back in. then insert printheads one by one. first insert black/yellow shutt the door adn check for message on pritner screen. if it says printhead missing cyan/megenta it means it detected black/yellow printhead. do same with cyan/megenta adn check for message on screen. if you see no error mesage and both printheads were detected fine let the printheads alligned completely. then if u see same issue it is the pritner whgich need to be replaced.
Clean print head it may work properly. else
find out which color not working. replace the color ink cartridge
LC51BK Black color LC51C Cyan LC51M Megenta LC51Y Yellow
by blue you mean cyan cart. It could be down to the print head bein
glogged up, i would do some deep cleans and make sure the machine is
purging ok, If not change print head, If not it could be logic board
but i have never had it with the cyan colour only megenta and black.
