Singer futura ce 250 embroidery will not run

I have had similar problems in the past.
Do you hear a noise from the embroidery unit when the misalignment occurs ? If so, I suspect that your issue may be that you have some resistance under the hoop. Is there extra material that may be rubbing on the machine or catching somewhere. I have found that if I use some masking tape to keep all of the extra material from hitting any other parts of the machine or dragging under the edge of the hoop this error does not occur. FYI: I also stopped using the "optimize stitch speed" option at the same time. I believe that material dragging was causing the problem, but I still wonder about the stitch speed optimization feature.

Usually when this happens the bobbin is in wrong, replace it make sure the thread is going out the right way, make sure there is no lint or small pieces of thread around or underneath the bobbin area. Make sure you thread it with the foot up. Also make sure you are usng the right bobbin for the machine. They can easy get mxed up.

The following steps must be followed for proper start-up protocol. If these steps are not followed precisely, you will get a “Transmission Pending” error message.
Boot up your computer, but do not open the Futura software. Next attach the embroidery unit to your sewing machine and connect the USB cable between your computer and sewing machine

1. Turn on your sewing machine by setting the Power/Light switch to ( l ). Make sure the needle has been moved to the highest position by turning the Handwheel towards you.
2. Attach the hoop that you plan to work with to your embroidery unit.
3. Double click on the Futura Icon on your desktop, to open up the Futura Software.
4. You are now ready to select and transmit a design to your machine

"PC" symbols on the machine panel if it is not connected to PC and switched on is a normal behaviour.
As for communication failure try to remember whether something on your pc has been changed: windows upgrade, machine got connected to another usb port etc. If any of such changes have been made try to reinstall Futura software. Otherwise launch troubleshooting utility and send its report to futura-support.
