Olympus VN4100 PC-Upload to Itunes???

Maybe the songs you want to get from itunes to your mp3 player are protected by apple drm, you need to change them to common mp3 format for playback on non-ipod device, here is a way about how to do it:

You'll need to download and install the newest version of ITunes. Once installed, when you plug your ipod up to your PC it will be detected by ITunes and give you the ability to upload your music.

unfortunately if you have the 4100 and not the 4100-pc you cant upload the files..

Go to the ION website and upload the newest software.

Being an Apple product, the only way to upload music onto your ipod is exclusively through Apple's software: iTunes. Go to www.apple.com, and download and install iTunes. Apple, the maker of the Ipod, requires you to use "iTunes" software to upload, transfer, and buy songs for your iPod mini. The software installation cd should come with your iPod, if not, you can download it at www.apple.com then going to downloads.

Hmmm... I have only had my Z3 a week but I have already uploaded several CD-Rs which I burned on a Macbook using iTunes. It uploaded the music no problem, but I had to manually type in the artist info (obviously).

You will need iTunes which probabaly came with ure iPod.
Now plug your iPod in with the USB cord, iTunes should recognize it and then you will need to get songs by either; draggging them into iTunes or buying them off of iTunes.
