Leappad restore profile data - Toys

Resetting your leappad ultra isa breeze. First thing you need to do is to download and install Leapfrog connect. If it doesn`t download, there`s an offline download option available. After installing it, connect your leappad ultra with the usb cable to the pc. power it on. it should get connected. If it doesn`t maybe your anti virus software is blocking it. If this happens, go to your antivirus software settings and under firewall rules, select allow for leapfrog connect .exe. Then it should detect your leappad ultra. Go to left hand top corner , select My Products. Then select your leappad ultra. Then goto Settings on the right top corner and in the pop up, select Reset. It will take around 15 - 20 mins to reset it. All data will be erased. Hope it helps

I forgot my Parent Lock code, how can I access parent settings on the LeapPad3, LeapPad Ultra, or LeapPad Platinum?If you forgot the four digit parent lock code you set up for the LeapPad3, LeapPad Ultra or LeapPad Platinum, you may retrieve the code with these steps:
1. Using a computer or other device connected to the internet, go to www.leapfrog.com
2. Click "Log In/Register" (or "My Account" if already signed in) on the top right of the page.
3. Sign in with the email address used to set up the LeapPad.
4. You'll land on the "My Account" page.
5. Click "Account Information". Directly beneath the orange "Edit" button you will see the Parent Lock code information for any LeapPad3 or LeapPad Ultra set up using this account.

Try turning off your wifi and skip the wifi setup and create a profile. Then install Leapfrog connect on PC and update the Leappad. This should then resolve your wifi connection issue. It worked for me when I had the same issue today.

If calibration doesn't resolve the issue, you can reset the LeapPad with these steps:
1) Launch the LeapFrog Connect application
2) Press and hold down Ctrl + Shift + R
3) A pop up window will prompt you to connect the device you wish to reset
4) Power on and connect the LeapPad

This site is worthless...more interested in tricking you with AD links than giving you an answer. Press Volume Down, Home and Right Directional...then power on. Connection screen will appear, connect it to your PC and select repair after tune up is done.

Then delete your profile on here and report the link you followed from google as worthless.

If you locked your screen and cannot remember your password or PIN to unlock the screen, you need to perform a full erase of your phone.
A full erase deletes all data stored on your phone, including third-party apps, pictures, downloaded music and videos, and documents stored on the USB drive. After the erase, you can restore any data that was backed up to your Palm profile, including sync account info (Google and/or Exchange) and third-party apps.
To reset your phone and restore data, do the following:

1. From the Pin Incorrect or Wrong Password screen, press and hold Option + Sym + power and continue holding for 10 seconds after the Full Erase screen appears.
2. After the phone reboots, sign in to your Palm profile to restore to your phone any data that was backed up to your profile.

sorry bro.. but the only way for you to retrieve your gamer profile is to delete the profile and then log in online... your gamer profile will be retrieved, all achievements will be restored but save games and game data will be lost... you can try to contact microsoft for further troubleshooting...
