The dimmer when purchased probably said that it was for incondescent lighting only and you have compact fluorescents. Replace them with regular bulbs and the problem will go away. People who buy and install their own dimmers may inadvertantly buy one that is for motor control only or fluorescents only and not read the instructions on this.

SOURCE: Lutron Grafik Eye Wall Stations Stopped Responding

You can try to reset the grafik eye by turning off the circuit breaker to it for about 15 seconds and then turning it back on. Sometimes, they will get a surge and it freaks out the computer inside it a little bit. If that doesn't solve it, you may have a loose connection on the back of the grafik eye unit or one of the bedside keypads. There should be a 4 conductor wire (black, red, white, green) from the master unit to the bedside unit and then from bedside unit to bedside unit. The black wire is the common (ground), the red wire is the positive, and white and green are transmit and receive. It sounds like your transmit and receive loops are not complete (white and green). This would allow the led's on the front of the keypad to light up but not communicate to the grafik eye. Be sure to turn off the circuit breaker to the grafik eye before removing either the keypads and the grafik eye from the wall.
Good Luck

SOURCE: Dimmer Switch not working after power outage

It's quite probable these units have gone faulty, due to the "Outage" see my previous post below.. You will need to replace these units, to restore functions. Please, have a read below, it may save you many $$ We have all had them, Power Outages, inconvenient, and also very deadly, well to Electronic equipment anyway. You see when any Circuit, is Made or Broken, at the instant of contact, when reconnecting, the current draw is considerable, also, after the connection has been made, and the "Load" being connected, and the Current draw is large, all sorts of transients, Spikes, Surges, Oscillations, is reflected, up and down the entire network. Now along with this, MOST people do NOT completely remove, the unit from the mains, by withdrawing the plug. nor, probably, even turn it off. This is wrong, ALL/ANY electronic equipment, that is connected to that Grid, will also encounter a phenomenon know as "Inrush Current" Now, this Inrush Current, Can and Does cause a great deal of damage to electronic equipment, the, instant reconnection, without going through an ON/OFF switch, and Power Conditioning Circuitry, well, the initial Current draw for that instant, is incredibly, high, and with nothing between, the current surges in, stressing everything, in the Power Supply, and more. Now along with that, you also have Transients, Spikes, Surges, Ringing, Oscillations, caused by the reconnecting of the Circuits. Joining of Cables, or Contacts. When the Power Goes OFF, you should NEVER leave anything plugged in after a Power outage, you need to withdraw each and every plug, from ALL Electronic equipment, note here, purely resistive, and relay type equipment is usually immune, it must be removed, and it shouldn't be reconnected, until about 5 minutes, AFTER the Power has been reconnected. This is to Avoid, all of the bad things that are caused by the reconnection back onto the Grid. If you do this, you can be assured of you Electronic items, lasting at least as long as they should, and not suffer premature deaths.

SOURCE: I replaced a standard single

Hello. There could be a couple of possibilities. First is the simplest to verify, is it a Companion Dimmer, Standard Dimmer switches or a 600W or 1000W Maestro Wireless Multi-location Dimmer. The Maestro Companion Dimmers can not be used individually, as they do not control a load, and must be used along with a Maestro or Maestro Wireless Multi-location Dimmer. The Campanion Dimmers are also a line/low voltage rating, and rated for incandescent and halogen but may not handle some flourescent fixtures. The other thing I can think of is that you may have interfearence from another item. They are radio frequency (RF) devices that communicate together for wireless control of lights. Here's two links that may be of some help, the second has downloadable install instructions.

I have instructions for Model 500000 24 hour mechanical timer and can't understand. Where are the pins??? Do I take it apart?

a photo would be nice but here goes
if it is a round unit with an arrow in the center and half of the circumference is black and half is white with the numbers i to 12 printed on the edge the set it like this
turn the outer edge until the number that corresponds to what time it is at that arrow
now press down each segment for the period of time you want it to be on
so leaving the time set at say 5 in the white ( 5pm) and you press down tabs at the 6 number then it will switch on at 6pm or when the outer ring moves around like a clock until that pressed down tag triggers the start lever inside
now if you want it to run for 15 minutes press down 2 tabs etc
now if you want it to switch off for a period say till midnight , press down the tabs in the black section at the number 12 and so for when the time at which you want ti on or off for the full24 hours
now plug it in and connect what it is timing into the outlet socket

Hi, my Siemens iq500 dishwasher cuts out mid cycle usually towards the second half of the cycle, it switches off and some times the display indicates the period of time remaining of the incomplete cycle....

Hello;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.

It sounds like you had a bad thermostat and then blew the thermal fuse.

These parts are in the back of your washer, The thermal fuse is on you hot air duct and your thermal fuse is on the opposite side.
It could look like the following:

Hi Ive got a Lutron Grafik Eye 3000 controlling

I need more information. Are the fixtures pot lights? What kind of bulbs are you using? Floodlights, spotlights, incondescent (normal tungsten filaments) or fluorescent, compact fluorescent, led etc. Since most dimmers say in their instructions that they are designed for incondescent lighting only the bulb you use can either blow up the switch or cause troubles like you are specifying. Also inside pot lights are thermal cutoffs that trip and reset when the light is cool again. Can you remove the switchplates and see where it says incondescent only embossed into the aluminum heatsink? If it says something else, what does it say?

Can I use the NGRXPB with a standard line voltage dimmer? Is the NGRXPB only to be used with a grafik eye input?

No. There are some specific model numbers of dimmers that work with this (the MAELV-600- for example). There are some other interfaces out there that might be more compatible. I recommend calling tech support at 1-800-523-9466 to get the most up-to-date info.

Lutron ngrx-pb 2000w, problem lights flicker when you try to dim ,works fine on full load.

This could be a number of issues:
- Are the loads dimmable loads rated for that device (Incandescent, Magnetic Low-voltage)
- Is it being controlled by a proper fluorescent control
- Did this work before and now its acting goofy?

There's a number of things to investigate to diagnose this one. I strongly recommend you call their tech support line (its available 24/7) at 1-800-523-9466.
