I have a Coleman Powermate PRO 6750 - 6750-8500 watts generator. My problem is that the fuel shutoff valve at the tank has broken, the handle on the valve assembly is probably made of pueter and broke off. Where can I get another shutoff valve assembly?

Powermate generators usually have a shutoff mounted to the bottom of the fuel tank. There is a knob at the bottom of the connector where the hose is attached to the fuel tank. Screwing it in (clockwise) shuts off the fuel.
you twist the whole valve after disconnecting the hose...
get a new one and put it instead...

Nearly all of the Powermates have the same 5 gallon fuel tank. I'm a little confused, the Powermate 6250s are all 5Kw generators with 6250 watt surge ratings. Is yours really a 10Kw or did I misunderstand which generator you have?
