Sim2 HT300E HDMI no picture

When viewing through HDMI, intermittently picture starts to develop several green spots and lines to the extent that it turns blank and signal is lost. If from remote setting is changed to composite instead of HDMI, picture returns. If picture is changed back to HDMI, picture is lost again whilst composite works fine. If after 30 or 45 mins picture is changed to HDMI then it will be fine. Changed and cleaned HDMI cable and sockets but to no avail. Could this be a dry joint?

SOURCE: I am having a problem with the color of my HT300

Is the socket firmly plugged in? In most cases, the cable is not plugged in properly and that's what causes the color problem.

SOURCE: My DLP projector SIM2 DOMINO

It is possible that the last time this was connected there must have been an higher input applied than is recommeded so that the input PRE_AMPS were loaded to fail.
You need to check with an signal trace on the input to find if an OP-AMP has failed or the LOGIC switching IC had failed.
Need to test using a signal tester and meter.

I have a dark spot in middle of screen, covering about 80% of screen, also have colored lines that come and go. What can I do to repair this problem? Is this a power supply issue?

My Z1275 has developed intermittent horizontal lines on the view screen when the camera is moved, and on images some times. Get good images if I use tripod and shutter delay. Looks like loose connecti

When having bright lights on a dark background, you can have horizontal lines. That is supposed to be normal. but the camera should give good pictures in bright light. Try setting the camera in automatic. most of the time it is the green camera loge on the mail dial.

Periodic tv screen blackouts

The problem is your cable box. I know you said you replaced it, but I work on TV's everyday and, sorry to say this but cable box HDMI outputs have serious issues, like no or intermittent sound and video. I have seen customers exchange their cable boxes 5 and 6 times and still have the problem. Your best bet is to use the component outputs of your cable box, visually you will not see a picture difference between component and HDMI when using a cable box. Your other solution is to get satellite; I have NEVER seen an HDMI issue with a satellite box

Spots on picture

I had the same problem. Panasonic is kind of a pain about the whole thing. You have to find out who your local Panasonic repair place is, tell them there is a service bulletin and they will get on it. You must be diligent! Do not take no for an answer! If it comes down to it, and the repair shop won't do it for you, then call Panasonic and endure a loooooong wait time. Trust me though...this is the issue. Once the eeprom gets fixed/updated/whatever, the picture looks amazing! Good luck.
