Sorry I did not use the video out RCA cables. My audio RCA cables worked fine... I ran them to my JBL amplifier through a conversion adapter. I did not run it direct to the amp.. I used Metra TYTO-01 03-08 Toyota Vehicles Harness for JBL SYS (Ebay item 160560648718) and it worked great.
Here is the wiring color coding that I found online:
Code on stereo for steering wheel is 0000

You might try the truly wireless QuickVu(TM) Wireless Backup Camera.
Run the yellow RCA cable from the receiver to your Sony unit, if it has
an RCA input. The QuickVu camera has no wires, so that part is really
easy. Buy direct from the manufacturer!
you don't need any settings actually it works with a three wire camera because the camera operates on 7volts and is powdered by the system, no need to connect it with the reverse switch, its already wired to the system, just connect the camera and will work.
The most basic connection is the 3 wire RCA cables with the Yellow, Red, and White ends, that connect the VIDEO, AUDIO LEFT and AUDIO RIGHT from the DVD player to the TV.
Plug the 3 cables into the corresponding colors on the VIDEO OUT and AUDIO OUT connectors on the back of the DVD player.
Then plug the other ends of the cable into the corresponding VIDEO IN and AUDIO IN connectors on the back of your TV.
The yellow cable is always the VIDEO signal and the red / white are the AUDIO left and right.
Then to watch the DVD player on your TV, just switch the TV's INPUT MODE SELECTOR option to VIDEO 1 or whatever label your TV has for the rear inputs.
That should be it.
There are other ways to connect the two devices, but that is the simplest and cheapest.

The yellow/black wire is for the foot brake and the yellow/blue is for the parking break. These wires need to be hooked up in line with the pinch connectors to the correct wire. The yellow/black wire needs to hook up to the wire to the foot break lead wire before the switch and the yellow/blue needs to hook up to the lead wire before the parking brake switch. This is a sefty feature to deactivate the video display because it is illegal to have video in the view of the driver while the vehicle is moving. These wires are used to tell if the car is stopped.
Rear View Camera Input: The VM9313 features a composite video input and a green/white wire lead attached to the harness for connection of a rear view camera. If a rear-view video camera is connected, the unit is on, and the TFT monitor is retracted inside the unit, the TFT monitor automatically moves into the viewing position and Camera modes is selected upon shifting into Reverse gear. When shifting into Drive gear, the TFT monitor is retracted back inside the unit. If the monitor is already in a viewing position and in display mode, the monitor automatically switches to Camera mode upon shifting into Reverse. When the reverse driving stops, the monitor returns to its original input display mode. You can choose for the monitor to display a Mirror mode image or a Normal mode image from the rear-view camera.
you would take the black rca plug opposite end of the red white and yellow plug. plug it into the side of the camcorder it should say a/v out and have a hole to plug it in then take the red white and yellow plugs and plug them into a tv and it should say a/v in then switch the tv to audio video 1 or 2 and it should work
