I dont think you can remove the vocals on audacity because it uploads it all as one stream whereas all the audio needs to be separated from the start. Maybe try and download the song as a backing track without vocals?

How do i get reverb to vocals? phonic powerpod 1860 delux

Use use an echo or reverb chamber for live recording through a desk.

A recorded vocal can be processed using a digital recording program like Audacity which is free. In it you will find a re-verb plug in which will allow you to add this effect.

Transfer music form fostex 440 to a PC

Step one- download the open source program Audacity. http://sourceforge.net/projects/audacity/?source=directory
Get an 1/8 inch stereo jack to stereo RCA outputs (some digital cameras with vieo capability have these cords.)
Plug your tape deck "Line Out" to the "microphone" input of your sound card if it does not have a "Line level Input." You will have to adjust the microphone level once you enable it in the microsoft windows audio settings accessible through the control panel file.

If you are using a mac, you will have to open the CDEV to set it up.

Then it is simply a matter of getting used to using the program, which does not take too long. Just remember to save either each tape side or each song as it's own project.

All open audio files in the display will play simulataneously, which is why you want to close them and start new.

If you need other tweeking types of programs to reduce hiss or potentially disk pops, there are some offerings also at sourceforge http://sourceforge.net They cater to Windows, linux and Mac.

The sampling rate you choose- if not variable- will affect sound quality and file size.

How to turn off vocal on Emerson GM527 so that we can only hear the music and sing along.

Note that you MUST use the special Karaoke disks to be able to remove the vocal... it will not do it for plain music CD's. Those devices that CLAIM to remove vocals often do so poorly... they do it by subtracting the left and right channels which ASSUMES the lead vocal is centered between the channels... Those methods don't work very well...

I want to record vocal voice trhought mic on psr 9000

You could record short "samples" to be used in building new voices, however, it does NOT appear that you can record a vocal song with the PSR9000. The Tyros II and III have the capability to record vocals but the PSR9000 and Tyros I do not..

When playing back an arrangement, you can re-sing the song and have the vocal harmonizer track the arrangement.

I would like to record my songs compositions in the computer system. pls advise which software and accessories to use. i would also like to have the notations for my compositions, which can be changed...

You haven't said what kind of computer you have but I will recommend a program called Audacity which is very good. It is freeware. You will need a stereo cable with plugs that match the line out jacks on your keyboard on one end and an 1/8" stereo plug on the other. The 1/8" should go into the line in jack on your computers sound card. Audacity is available here:http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ That is to get you started. If you want notation software, I would recommend Finale which you will have to purchase for a full version. Their website is here:http://www.finalemusic.com/ They have trial versions available. Here is a link to another program that might be good although I haven't tried the program:http://www.techspot.com/downloads/1831-magicscore-school.html If you want to use a program to record the midi output of your keyboard, you will have to use a midi cable from the midi out on your keyboard to a midi to usb adapter to your computer. That is the easiest way if your sound card has no midi in/ out jacks. Here is a good link to info about all that:http://www.indiana.edu/~emusic/etext/MIDI/chapter3_MIDI.shtml Let me know if this helps.
