The main board is the most likliest cause of that could be either a solder issue or one of the components on the main board has a thermal issue which causes it to fail when its hot.

My girl took pics of wedding Saturday and viewed pics earlier today. When she went to look at them again, a message " Disc in Drive E is not formatted. Do you want to format disc now?" Of...

do not format -- you will lose the pictures

instead go to another computer that supports SD memory and CDRW. insert into that computer and then take all the PICS, save into that computer. now take a blank CD and take the saved PICs and burn into CD.
Also, to ensure you dont lose these pictures (PICs) you may want to buy a 4G or 8G USB thumb drive (about $10-$15 or less) -- drag and drop all the PICs (saved on that computer) into the USB thumb drive. Now you have on CD and USB drive.

hope this helps

No pic on hd but has sound ...has pic on the

You may have lost 24vdc in the power supply for the inverter backlight circuits, or the inverter baord is bad. Look for 24vdc first and also look for bad leaking/bulging top caps in the power supply, there are also fuses in the inverter board.

Camera says it has 1741 pics but only shows 14 in review.my daughter had the setting on internalmem, so how can i get to those pics kodakm753

Sounds like you have 1741 pics on the memory card and 14 on the internal memory. To get to those pics, you need to remove the memory card. Also, keeping 1741 pics on a memory card is a recipe for disaster. The pics can become corrupted over time and you will lose them. Also, that many pictures slows down your camera.

Tv goes on fine, sound good and pic green light receptor on tv starts blinking and we lose pic sound still good. When we tap the light on tv pic comes on fine for a while then same thing happens again

This television is having problem with intermittent tuner reception. The tuner is the signal processor for the television. The video section is intermittent. This could be a simple matter of cold solder joints that can occur over time due to heat expansion and contraction. This causes the metal in solder to expand and then when the television cools down, the metal that is expanded cannot contract. The solder joints then becomes intermittent. All televisions suffer from this problem.Since you are able to still able to receive the video signal, there appears to be no component damage. You will need to take this television in to a service center and have them rework the solder on all the areas around the tuner section of the television and any other areas that may be susceptible to the problem due to overheating. You can call Magnavox customer support at this telephone number 1-800-705-2000 and ask them for the location of a service center in your area. Or take it in to a local repair center and have them test and service the television for you. You can also try taking it to a school where they are teaching electronic repair and ask them if they will work on the television for you. They will usually do the work for a cost of parts and a small labor charge. Call them first to make sure they will help you and tell you how you can get the television serviced This may not be the only problem you are having with the television. That is why you need to have it tested first. I hope this information help you with your problem.

INTERMITTENT PICTURE AND SOUND

You were told correctly, you have a bad lamp. When the lamp gets old, the reflector becomes cloudy and instead of reflecting the light, it converts it into heat. As the lamp heats, it draws more power, eventually too much power and the set "recycles" because the lamp is drawing too much power. Replace the lamp, use an original Sony lamp as the aftermarket replacements are known troublemakers. If the bulb fixes the problem (and I know it will because I fix these TV's everyday) be sure to rate this solution. Thanks!

Sony kp-48s65 rear projection

Unless you know how to solder go to a repair shop ,but it sounds like you are losing your high voltage filament going to tubes- poor solder connections will cause this.

No pic and shuts off

If the housing of the door comes open you will lose the sound and picture almost instantly. Have you replaced your lamp in this tv it sounds like the life on your lamp is coming to an end.
