1.if locked for 12 hrs just goto your alternate mail id yahoo will send the unlock code there goto your alternate mail id and confirm the code thats it so simple
or
2.You can contact Yahoo by filling this form

MOST RESPECTED SIR, I AM A YAHOO MAIL CUSTOMER EVERY TIME I AM FACING WITH THE PROBLEM INVALID ID AND PASSWORD.EVEN THOUGH MY SELF TYPED CORRECTLY AGAIN IT IS SHOWING INVALID ID AND PASSWORD THIS IS NOT FIRST TIME I AM FACING NEARLY 20 TIMES I SUFFERED WITH THE SAME PROBLEM ONE MORE DISADVANTAGE IN YAHOO MAIL ASKING FOR ALTERNATIVE E-MAIL ADDRESS. EVEN IF PUBLISHED THE OLD ALTERNATIVE E-MAIL ADDRESS THE YAHOO SHOWS INVALID E-MAIL ID IT DOES NOT WORKS OUT PLEASE TRY ONCE AGAIN.HOW CAN WE PRODUCE THE CORRECT ALTERNATIVE E-MAIL ADDRESS SUPPOSE THE GIVEN PERSON MAY CHANGES FROM YAHOO TO GOOGLE THEN HOW CAN WE KNOW OR SUPPOSE HE MAY DISCLOSES HIS ACCOUNT ANY OTHER REASON.SO ASKING FOR ALTERNATIVE E-MAIL ADDRESS IS NOT FAIR IN MY OPINION DEAR SIR,FOR THE PAST FOUR DAYS I AM FACING THE SAME PROBLEM.HENCE I REQUEST THE YAHOO HIGHER AUTHORITIES TO RESTORE MY YAHOO MAIL.CO.IN WITH AN IMMEDIATE EFFECT WITH OUT ANY FURTHER DELAY AND RESTORE MY YAHOO OLD VERSION AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE.AWAITING FOR YOUR EARLY REPLY

Go to "uk.yahoo.com" and click "Sign up" on the top right.
Put in your information, and you're done! (If you have a US account and want a UK one too, they are the same account. You don't need another one to access Yahoo's UK site)

Do you have an email account to two, usually at the beginning you create email accounts, more like the other email account is intended to support. Usually if you forgot your password every time you reset, new password will be sent to your email address support. Or you can try clicking on the tab "I can not access my account 'follow the instructions. See example.

All you need do is to type mail.yahoo.com on your web browser, it will open a new window, below sign in, you will see dont have a yahoo ID, sign up is easy, click the sign up and fill the form and follow the procedure there in, your account will be created.

Please note the email address and password you enter into the web form, that is what you will be using to sign in.

After you have received account successfully created, you will now enter the mail.yahoo.com on your web browser again, but this time, you will need to enter the yahoo id and password you fill on the form and sign in. that is all.

this could be resolved by contacting "yahoo-help desk", either send e-mail to customer support asking them to refresh your account or fill the feedback form and get contacted by yahoo helpdesk.

The people qualified to help you are directly on Yahoo. You need to contact customer care, and fill the Yahoo Mail Abuse Form where you report incidents of abuse or harassment.

The problem of the hack should also be checked as you might have a computer virus.

i think you are using new version of yahoo try using the old classic version of it..it will solve the problem...
