NOTES: If you do not enter a valid remote access code, the system answers the call automatically. If the date and time is not set when a message is recorded, the system announces, "Time and date not set" before the answering system announces the number of messages. If there are no new messages in the answering system, when you press 2 to play back new messages, the system announces, "You have no new message." If you pause for more than four seconds during remote access, you hear a help menu listing all features and commands. If there is no command for another 20 seconds, the call ends automatically. If the memory is full, the answering system answers after 10 rings and announces, "Memory is full. Enter the remote access code." Enter your remote access code to access the messages and announcements. I have these steps for you on how to do it. Hope it helps.

Mailbox Greeting While the voicemail system will play a generic greeting to caller, prompting them to leave a message, you can record your own greeting.
1. Press the MESSAGES button. Depending on how your system is configured, you may be required to enter your voicemail password and then press the Done soft key. The visual voice menu is displayed.
2.Use the up and down arrow keys to scroll to the option Greeting.
2.Press the Select soft key or OK.
3. Use the soft keys to listen to and record your mailbox greeting.

Listen to the current greeting or the new greeting just recorded.
• Record
Record a new greeting. Note that the greeting must be at least 3 seconds long or the voicemail system will discard it.
• More
Switch between the different sets of available soft key functions.
• Submit
Submit the new recording as your mailbox greeting.
• Delete
Delete your current mailbox greeting. The voicemail will use its default greeting.

The speed is set by a synchronous motor that drives the turn table. There may be a small adjustable resistor (pot) that will do the trick.

The usual cause is a dirty idler wheel. Clean the tire on the idler using alcohol or rubber cleaner. Make sure everything turns easily and check the height adjustment on the idler wheel. You may have to take the motor apart to clean and oil it (if not spinning freely).

You may be listening off tape and there is a lag of time between the record head and the play head which is what you may be concerned with. This is normal for any three head deck be it cassette or open reel.
Slowing the speed will lengthen the time of the delay and speeding it up will shorten it.

CD players commonly will not recognize some types of CD, eg MP3 recordings, or maybe CD-RW recordings.

However if this is happening with CDs that would previously play OK, then it could be

- scratched or dirty CD surface
- contaminated laser lens in the player
- laser lens has become misaligned

The last 2 need a service technician, but it may be cheaper to buy a new player.

somewhere on that player is a switch for 78-45-33 rpm the speed switch look up around by the tone arm above by where the record goes, it may not be on the front. switch it to the correct record you have 45's are small. 78's are medium and 33rpms are the big records..

Youtube downloads the song in the background as you listen to it. If this process, called buffering, happens too slowly, then youtube will pause.
Make sure you aren't downloading anything in the background, otherwise you'll need to load the page, pause the video, and let it sit for a few moments before playing. Getting a faster connection can solve this problem.

the tascam 414 is a 4 track recording studio which uses standard cassette tapes- meaning they only play in one direction, because the tape is full. The 414 records at double speed so that recording fidelity is increased. When you have made a recording you want to mix you then dub your recording though the outputs into another standard tape recorder or whatever you have available, be it a cd recorder or your PC. So, when you listened to your recording on a standard tape player, you were not only hearing it at half speed but you were only listening to 2 of the 4 tracks. The other tracks would only be heard if you flipped the tape over, and they would be heard running backward. I would have though the 414 had a swich to allow it to also record at standard speed to but I guest it does not.
