Who is your Video service Provider? Cable or satellite? I would suspect a bad cable first by changing your cables. if this doesn't solve your problem you may have a bad cable or satellite box, but check your connections and or change cables for a new set.
Hello You haven't stated the type of signals that comes with your co-axial cable; analogue or digital. Anyway, you have to retune the TV after connecting it properly with Cox-Cable receiver with TV.
I understand, it's something I've misunderstood on my denon avr-790 as well when connected to a samsung 8000 series led tv. The answer isn't in the receiver's settings (you can be on whatever source you want on the receiver end when toggling the menu). You need to toggle through the tv's sources to find the menu (usually found on hdmi 1). I've spent towards an hour recently troubleshooting only to find that it was the tv's source that wasn't set properly and I was trying to change the receiver's settings instead of the tv's source. If it's the first time using your PS3, use the composite cables that came with it. Turn on the PS3 go to video settings and switch the input to HDMI. After you've switched to HDMI, turn the PS3 off and connect your HDMI cable, go back to video settings and change the resolution to 1080p. If this isn't the first time you've used HDMI for your PS3, make sure your T.V. is on the correct input. If the T.V. is on the correct input, try switching the HDMI cable to a different input. If that doesn't work try using a different HDMI cable, testing different HDMI connections if you're still getting the black screen. If none of those work then it's probably a problem with the PS3, but just to make sure try plugging something else with HDMI to see if that works. If another HDMI device works, then it's your PS3, if it doesn't then it could be a problem with your HDMI connections on the T.V.
In order to receive the TV's Guide system, the cable should be connected directly to the TV instead of the cable box if you are still using it.
How do you have the cable box connected to the TV?
you can try changing the assigned channel.you should have to put the second T V on a certain channel like channel 72 or 68 or something like that.on the main reveiver you should go into the menu and poke around in the setting until you see a REMOTE ADDRESS option walk through the steps and change the channel that the second TV receives its picture on, you should shoot for channel 62-72.also make sure the hisense is set to a cable input.you can go into the menu on the hisense and go to your settings and change this .it will be on CABLE or ANTENNA.try switching those around.also did you have sound before coming out of the coax output on the hisense? if your not sure then plug a vcr into and make sure the TV is working with different equipment.GOOD LUCK!
