The ATDC sensor on the drum imaging unit is bad or the developer is bad. Recommend replacing drum imaging unit with new developer.

Error code c2557 means "Auto Toner Density Control sensor abnormality" (ATDC)

ADTC sensor failure

c2557 means your machine is having problem with its ATDC SENSOR.

This code happens if you replace drum without replacing developer. Both must be replaced at same time.

Reset it, start it with the right door open, go to service mode, clear the counters for drum and developer and go to functions menu. Close the right door and start immediately the F8 function. It should work.

Could be many things, but usually see this if the drum is replaced and not the developer.

Utility/Counter -> Details -> [STOP][0][0][STOP][0][1]
Go to counter and clear the life of the developer and drums and then run F8 from functions.
