A Copystar CS-1815 has a troubleshot code C6020, how you fix it?
This happened after using the feeder on top that took 3 or 4 papers at the same time, I think that gave the message paper jammed but not paper was jammed, and even allowed to copy the remaining 3 or 4 papers and then came the code C6020.

If it is a c-3200 code it means that you have a exposure lamp problem.Defective scanner, defective scanner PCB,lamp or inverter board, incorrect shading, poor contact of the connector terminals on lamp assembly. Look for a bad connection And look at lamp. Look for blue rings or burnt ends. Now don't look at that light while its on.
The feeder assembly must be out of adjustment this is most likely at the drum. 85 bucks just in parts. Labor would depend on whom you choose to have it repaired with.
check the top original feeder switch they get pulled wrong way and stick insert a thick piece of cardstock in original feeder slot and push it in until the switch is able to move freely

Also the feed tyre needs cleaned / changing and or cassette springs need stretching !!!
There are two screws on the drum unit. They are on the left hand side and one on the right hand side. Remove the screw from one side and take off plastic small side cover. Dump the waste toner. Do the same for the other side and then put it back together. Turn machine off then on and the error code should be gone......
Hi,
Check feed Rollers, and Timing Switch-no 4 in attached file.
Switch was not deactivated in proper time .That means, maybe paper path has some obstructions(paper scrap etc... ) or some spring on switch is not in proper position.
