I am getting the issue of white dots appearing on my Samsung LCD TV before the screen completely turns off.

This is a problem is usually on your Y sustain board. There are two adjustments for this in which an Oscilloscope is nessesary for the alignment. However, there are two other things that can cause this also. This is beyond your abilities if your not a tech. Sorry for the news, It's not a major repair but should be done by a qualified tech.

This should be repairable. It may be the LVDS Cable or the Main board problem. The only other problem is the T-Con Board.

This is know as diffusion. You will need to locate the Vs adjustment inside the TV and vary it up and down by NO MORE THAN 10 volts. If this does not correct the problem then you will need to replace the Plasma panel.

This problem cause by DMD chip has been defective. This chip consist of over 2 mil mirrors tiltling to make picture. Some of the mirror does not function causing white dots. Sir the lens of your lamp is just dusty try to clean it with microfiber cloth but remove ac plug to the main, then wait for the lamp to cool down before cleaning the lens or try to check user manual. Good day and best regards.
