The service manual for the Jenn-Air JGS8750AD* series says 'Control Not Calibrated' 'Replace Control.' I've replaced the control and get the same error. What is it calibrating? I can find no further explanation of what it is doing. Help & Thanks!
New front panel (Can't get just the membrane) and the original EOC /ERC board fixed the problem. Replacement board(s) (two) had same error with new front panel, but then the timer and number buttons worked the way they should before it returned the 'F1-E' error.

F1 means defective control module. On manual it will be: "Electronic oven control failure"
From manual:"Replace electronic oven control (also called EOC or clock)."
Try disconnecting power cord or tripping the circuit breaker for a couple of minutes. If the error comes back you will need to replace the oven control module.

1. Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds. 2. Re-apply power and observe for at least one minute. 3. If code re-appears, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

Nope, it clears the code, but then comes back in about 20 seconds.
