THIS AUDIO PROBLEM PERTAINS A FEW DIFFERENT NAME BRANDS AND TO MOST VIZIO Tv MODELS
MADE IN THE LAST 2-3 YEARS MAYBE EVEN 4+ I'M NOT SURE
WHEN IT STARTED.
I do believe your model is equipped with the SRS features which IS a formatted audio enhancement . Anyway go into the advanced audio settings in Tv's menu and TURN OFF the SRS tru volume leveling & the SRS tru surround feature. Additionally in the Tv's menu also has an option to turn off the internal speakers. And another common pitfall that I see happening to people. Is check the PCM and or LPCM option in both your Tv & your cable/satellite box's audio menu setup/settings. LPCM is Limited Digital Audio and PCM is Variable Digital Audio (VOLUME AMPLIFICATION) but
because it is a digital signal the two formats conflict, and the audio
will in and out.

P.S. YOUR WELCOME I SAY THAT CAUSE QUITE OFTEN IT IS
THE AUDIO PROBLEM VIZIO CUSTOMERS ARE HAVING!!!

One of my Floureon XF-388 Walkie Talkies is not making sound. The volume is all the way up, and the batteries are fully charged. No sound is coming out.

Use the external talk/listen speaker/microphone. You get audio your internal speaker or connection is bad. Still no audio the audio power circuit is bad. Find a electronic tech & ask for a repair. Good luck.

I can't get any sound out of my TV. I have everything set up as it should be. BUT The volume does not work at all.

That set, like many RPTV, may have an audio setting in the menu area for internal or external audio. Make sure it is set for internal (unless you are using external amp/speakers). Good Luck.

Telefunken TLC037fhda no sound picture good

take a look at the speaker, use a multimeter see if the speaker have the rated resistance.( eg .8 ohms) if speaker bad replace if.if speaker good. see if your audio amp is getting power (multimeter needed) set to d.c volts.have voltage then look for the input pin that brings audio into the amp,use a 16 -32 ohms speaker across gnd pin and input pin(bring volume up hi on tv) if audio replace audio amp.
(also look for cold solder) on p.c board before replacing amp.

Car Audio

Swap wires between speakers and to make sure it is not the amp, the head unit or wiring. If the right speaker still doesn't work touch a 9v battery to the speaker terminals for a second to verify if the speaker is good or bad (a pop the speaker is working nothing the speaker is bad)replace. Otherwise check the wiring between the amp and the head unit. If all the wiring is good you may have a bad channel in your amp(bad internal connection or bad component(s)) or last there could be a bad channel output on your head unit. If that is your only right speaker and you don't have one in the door and you use an ipod as a source check the cord!

Good picture no sound

Hello
Check the speakers first. Get this set connected to an external audio amplifier device, such ans an amplifier or so, with its audio out connections at the back of the TV with audio in connections on the back of the amp, and listen whether you can see sound from the external amp. If you can hear sound from the external amp, and not with the internal speakers of your tv, either the speakers may have damaged or it audio output IC had got damaged. if so you have to replace the IC or should replace the audio card o your tV, if the IC is not available at local electronic spare part market.
If you can't hear any audio by external amp, as it has been connected as stated earlier, the mother board [main board] of your tv has the trouble. There is no repair to this digital board, and it should be replaced as card basis. OK.

Problem(s) Description(s): Initially intermittent output with good audio quality on all four speakers/channels,( five minutes of output then maybe two minutes of silence) then no output at all on all four...

yes you have a internal fault of the amp. the circuit that puts it into safe mode is bad and that is a very small chip on the board know as a op amp. needs to be repaired.

No sound coming out of my Mitsubishi Model CS-2013R (older model). Picture is still great. Just no sound all of a sudden. TV nor DVD player (running through it) project sound...

The older TV's have a switch in the back what if bumped will cut the speakers off. It is for internal/external speakers. Check the switch & make sure it is set for internal speakers. If that still does not solve it, go to your Menu screen advanced options and make sure the speakers are turned on. If it is and still not audio, then you may have a problem with the internal amp or the audio switcher. Note you will need the factory remote for the advanced options

Cb problem have a cobra 19dx iv with a 2ft magnet mount cobra antenna swr is good, receive is good, but muffled output

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Which output is muffled, transmit (modulation audio) or receive audio?

If you are referring to the receive audio, initially, have you tried an external speaker? If it works good, then it would be an internal speaker problem; if not then others to check would be:
  • IC1 - KIA7217AP audio IC;
  • CM 10 & 15 - audio output capacitors 470uF / 16V.
if it were transmit / modulation audio, try replacing the mic.

Please postback updates.

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.
