I have the same problem, but with the blackberry curve. I was able to pair it once, then I had to unpair it so my husband could use it with his phone and when I got it back it wont pair. It says "unable to pair Jabra VBT 2050" it wont pair with his phone either.

First time it paired fine, but I forgot to rename my phone. I deleted the jabra, gave my phone a unique name and tried to pair again, but I got the same error message as mentioned above.

Hold the volume up (+) button down along with the call button for 5-10 seconds (until the led lis solid). Then, while the led is lit up, initiate the pairing on your phone. It should pair this time. It worked for my phone, which was having the same problem you described.

Pairing Nokia E71 with Jabra BT2010
I pressed the button with the on/off button and that did not help but then I held down the on/off button until the led was solid and then my Nokia E71 paired. (by going to bluetooth and scrolling right and selecting pair with new device).
Prior to pressing the and on/off button I had tried to just hold down the on/off to get a solid LED but it would not go solid, after the on/off and pressing, just pressing the on/off for 10-20 seconds finally got the LED to go solid and I was able to pair my Jabra headset with the Nokia.
Thanks for all this help

Try resetting it.

"It is possible to reset and test the headset. Make sure that the headset is powered off. Press and hold the answer/end button and the on/off button at the same time for 10 seconds. The headset will automatically turn off after approx. 10 seconds. The next time you power on, the headset will go into pairing mode as the first time you powered your new BT2050 on."

I cannot get my Blackberry Storm to pair with my Jabra BT2070.

You have to first put the Headset into discoverable mode. According to the Jabra website, this is done by pressing and holding the end/mute button until the light comes on steady. Follow the procedure for your phone to pair a bluetooth device to it. The PIN code will be 0000.

Jabra 2050 wont pair with blackberry storm

Go to this site, and it will walk you through each step to connect your particular Jabra headset with your cellphone. Choose the headset, and then at the next page, choose your phone. Moving your mouse over each step will change the picture to what you should be seeing on your phone at each step.

Installing bluetooth

You need to power on the bluetooth headset, make sure that it has a solid LED light on it. Power on the phone and go to the bluetooth settings, search on the headset, it will ask you to enter a pass code, just enter 0000 that is the default code for that.

Pairing Problem - BluetoohJabra VBT2050 & LG Shine CU720

I have a Jabra VBT 2050 bluetooth headset. As per the product user manual(page 8) this device is compatible with any bluetooth mobile phones with bluetooth version 1.1 or higher.

My LG Shine CU720 mobile phone is not able to detect the VBT 2050 device. I checked the specification of mobile phone & its bluetooth 1.2. I am able to pair the VBT 2050 with other bluetooth mobile devices.

Could you help me resolve my problem. Appreciate quick help

How do I put a Jabra VBT 2050 into discovery mode?

OK, this is what you do: 1. Make sure your Jabra VBT 2050 is fully charged. 2. Enable bluetooth on your phone. 3. Turn on your VBT 2050 with the little button on the side (the white light between the keys should flash). 4. Initiate a search from your phone while holding down the center button on the VBT 2050 (middle, under the + and -). 5. You might need to do another bluetooth search using your phone (it took me about 4 times befor my Blackberry Storm picked up the signal. 6. When your phone asks for a code, type in 0000 (the default number).
