I just recently purchased a 2002 Toyota Avalon and the built in 6 disc CD changer won't eject or load CD's and the cassette tape player will play for a bit and then eject the tape

The equipment (front end unit and the CD changer) are too old. Cassette tape players life isn't usually any longer than this. I would replace the front end unit (receiver) by shopping for one that fits (the dash). Bypass or forget about the CD changer in the trunk because a new CD player is on all new front end units. I would recommend a shop like Best buy to select one and especially to install it; unless you know how to install one.

I have a cd changer on my 1997 Toyota Camry, but can't find where to load cd's. Do I need to install something to play cd's?

Get this manual online at www.reliable-store.com and get complete guide on whether to repair or not, service it, and how to repair etc, along with wiring diagrams, electrical diagrams, torque specs, error codes, everything.

5 cd changer 11827 model # in Toyota one slot has two cd's and can't get it to eject

The safest way is to remove the changer and dis-assemble to retreive the CD's.

Almost any other method can not only damage the CD's but also the read head in the changer.

2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid CD changer jammed, one month out of warranty, dealer says $2500 to replace..., will not eject or load CDs

Take it to any local car audio shop, find out the make of the changer and chances are good that it can be fixed quickly and at a minimal cost or replaced with an aftermarket unit that will work perfectly with the factory radio for under 600 installed easily. Hope this helps

1993 Toyota Vienta Ultima, ''Fujitsu Ten'' INF4 fault

i had the same proble. i happened to remove the changer from the boot for a few days and have a look inside but did not see anything wrong and when i put it back in it worked.

i expect it is as simple as disconnecting the changer from the head unit, turn the head unit on and off and then reconnect the changer resets the connection between the two.
