My Sears Kenmore glass top oven Model 95459 will not shut off, even when the switch says off and the preheat light flashes, had to turn off breaker to shut it off, I replaced the thermal sensor in the oven once and it worked for two years but it has done it again and I'm wondering if it could be something else, the thermal sensor shouldn't have gone out that fast.

We tested the EOC and it will indeed need a replacement. Also, just a couple weeks prior we ran the "clean" mode on the oven as did another poster who experienced the "pop" and loss of the control board/oven function, but still had stove top function.

Pretty much everything on earth CAN be replaced but it will become your call how much you are prepared to spend to accomplish that. I suggest you contact any Frigidaire dealer or repair site and provide them with your model number and ask for a replacement top price. Not sure that helps but it should get you headed in the right direction.. There are also many online appliance part sites that you can get a better feel for the cost of your glass top ..
