you'll need to call someone in on this one, boards are very expensive and like it says it names both the ccu and mcu boards or the motor,if you call say whirlpool they might give you the part but you pay for labor and they will have the boards on the truck, the guy will replace one board at a time to see what one is bad,not like the older machines that you can check the parts with a meter.good luck

F11 is a serial communications error. This is a symptom of an electronic control board starting to go bad. As defined by the technical information provided by Whirlpool, the error could also be caused by a loose or broken wire connector and/or the central control unit (CCU) (front panel). I would double check all your wire connections leading to the control board and CCU, first. Don't be surprised, however, if the problem persists and you eventually have to replace the electronic control board. To check, follow these steps: 1. Unplug washer. 2. Remove the three screws along the top of the washer in the rear that holds the top panel on. 3. Once the screws are removed the top should slide back then lift up. 4. The electronic control board is gray (or white) in color and located in the rear of the washer. It's impossible to miss. Double check all the connections ONE AT A TIME. 5. Double check the wire harness connections leading to the front panel as well. I hope this resolves your problem, but experience has proven that this is usually an Electronic Control Board failure. It could actually be a combination of the CCU as well. The part numbers are as follows: Electronic Control Board: 959503 Central Control Unit: 1025824 Both boards cost about $150 each. Let me know if this helps you.

The shaking and vibration of the washer makes sense. I took off the top cover and just pushed on the circuit board connections and the washer instantly worked. Some of the connections did feel loose and by simply making sure they were connected tightly worked. Save yourself a service call and try this first. The circuit board is easy to get to. Just remove the three screws from the back and the top cover comes right off. This is for both the f11 and f dl fault codes.

"F11" is a serial communications error between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and Motor Control Unit (MCU), or interconnecting wiring. In a nutshell, the CCU, (which is the main computer board for the washer) has more than likely failed. You can try disconnecting the connectors and plugging them back in on the CCU, but I haven't had much luck with that remedy. You will need to UNPLUG the washer & take the washer top off by removing the three screws in the back to gain access to it. Once removed, slide the top back and then lift up. The CCU is located directly behind the wash tub.
If you cannot get the fault to clear and wish to repair this yourself, you can find the part at repairclinic.com. Just type in your complete model number and look for item number 1176592. The part lists for about $157. Searspartsdirect.com also has the part for much more, but offers informative troubleshooting diagrams. The CCU can be found under the "Control Panel Parts" heading as item number 15 (part #8182695). If you wish to do some comparative pricing of your own, use the part number provided by the Sears website.
If the washer still carries a warranty, this would be covered. Doublecheck with the manufacturer on how long some parts are covered. Some of the electronics and mechanical parts are covered beyond the one-year limited warranty that generally comes with your appliance.
I know this may be discouraging news, but you can repair this yourself and avoid labor costs. It may seem expensive, but considering how much these washers cost (I know, because I own one), it may be worth the effort. I hope this helps you. Post back if you have further questions or need instructions.

SOURCE: washer won't drain or spin, get F2 error
Hello hernandez160,
The "F2" error is referring to excessive drain time. Unplug machine before working on it. Remove screws on bottom of lower panel and remove panel. The drain pump is behind the panel, It has a large round door on it, turn counter clock wise by hand to access pump clean out. Have lots of towels ready. Remove anything from pump (usually kids socks or small clothing articles). If nothing in pump clean out remove suction boot from drain pump and check there. If nothing there blow through the drain hose from the pump side to check if anything is stuck in the hose. If that's clear check the electrical connection on the pump, make sure nothing is loose or broken at the connection. If all this checks out good and it still wont work you probably have a bad pump and it will need to be replaced. If you do find something was blocked or clogged due to small clothing articles I would recommend a garment/lingerie bag to keep all the small stuff together during the wash cycle. Hope this helps to fix your problem. Please remember to rate this and every solution you get.
Thanks,
