My dryer is giving me a F1 code on my whirlpool wed9200sq1

F-01 is a failed communication of the=> Whirlpool Dryer Main Control Board W10174745 The control board has likely shorted out. Not a cheap fix but it is a fix

Go to https://www.whirlpool.com/manuals/ and enter your model number. The directions on how to find the model number are also on that page.

You might try turning off the dryer and unplugging it completely. Be careful when unplugging the dryer. Let it sit unplugged for a few minutes and then plug it back in. Let it sit plugged in for a few minutes and turn it back on.
