Hi,
Here's a link for your manual. Good luck. I purchased this model 2 days ago & I have not sewed a thing yet. It's very hard to get the tension right. On this site you will be able to jump around to FAQ also. I did find out that they suggest putting a small piece of felt under the thread holder so the thread doesn't spin too fast.

I want to compare the following models of Brother sewing machines: ls905, xl3750 & lx3125. Please tell me their differences, pros & cons. Thanks!

But you can probably do your own comparison by searching each model and then comparing the specifications and the reviews they've each received.

I have my Mother's Brother XL3750, no book or accessories. It will sew in reverse only. I don't even know where the reverse button is. The only thing that I have tried is the big lever front...

you can download a manual for your machine from the Brother website,
link is
http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/BSC/public/files/dlf/doch000452/bm2736xl26i35i375ug04enes.pdf

Reverse is the big lever in front but it should be sprung so you need to hold it down to reverse; if your machine is only sewing backwards, this lever might be stuck or locked into position. Check out page 25 and 26 in the manual for specific info.

With my Brother 3750 sewing machine, it is hard to thread because the arm that goes up and down does not come out of the machine "case". I end up trying to almost blindly put the thread through...

Hello, Cwpetronio -

I hope I am correct in thinking your Brother sewing machine is in the XL series of sewing machines. If so . . .

I think you will find the instructive illustrations here helpful:
http://support.brother.com/g/b/faqend.aspx?prod=hf_xl3750eus&c=us_ot&lang=en&faqid=faqh00000467_000

I would think the instructions for threading the machine are in the owner's manual. If you do not have the manual, you can download on free here:
http://homeappliance.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/brother/xl3750.html

Note: The manual is in PDF format, meaning you will need Adobe Reader software (free). After you download the manual, I recommend you save it in your Documents folder using a file name you can find again easily - Brother XL-3750 Manual. You can print the manual for easy reference.

Best wishes.

On the Brother XL3750, how many presser feet does it come with? and what are their functions?

Go to www.brother.com and enter your machine type. Look for online pdf file for that machine. It should be able to tell you what it comes with, what they are and what they are used for. Most machines come with a button hole maker, a zipper foot as well as a dozen other types of feet. Mine came with a free hand embroider foot, zipper, button maker, and two others.
Try online manuals, since you can read them, store them on your hard drive for easy referral later.
