SOURCE: Panasonic DVD Recorder DMR-EX77

Hi,

It sounds as if the actual T/V channel is out of tune.
I,d suggest powering the player On.
Then using channel 8-12 on the T/V to Scan for its frequency.
When you,ve located it to the Player.
Lock the channel, then use the DVD on Channel 8-12.

Mike @ compurepair.

p.s also check the output from DVD To T/V lead has,nt come loose.

How to program JVC vcr/dvd/tv remote 076D0FB010 for taping future tv shows. I can only tape shows live on my JVC HR-XVC1U machine.

It sounds like the remote you have, the JVC 076D0FB010, does not have the capability to program future recordings on your JVC HR-XVC1U or HR-XVC27U machines. This feature is typically called "timer recording" or "scheduled recording," and it is controlled by the VCR's built-in programming features, rather than by the remote.
You may want to check the user manual for your JVC HR-XVC1U and HR-XVC27U machines to see if there is a way to set timer recordings using the VCR's own controls. If the manual does not provide instructions for timer recording, it is likely that this feature is not available on your VCRs.
Alternatively, you can consider purchasing a universal remote that has the ability to program future recordings. Some popular universal remotes include the Logitech Harmony and the Philips Universal Remote Control.

Program my symphonic tv

Here are the steps on how you will program your remote control to your Symphonic TV

1. Manually turn on the component you want the remote to control.
2. Press and hold the TV key. The illuminated ON•OFF key turns on and remains on. If you release the component key at any time during the Direct Code Entry procedure, the illuminated ON•OFF key blinks four times, and the process is exited.
4. While holding down the TV key, consult the list for the four-digit code that corresponds to your TV and use the number keys
(0-9) on the keypad to enter it. While you are pressing the
numbers, the illuminated ON•OFF key turns off.
5. After the fourth number is entered, the illuminated ON•OFF key turns on. At this time, release the TV key. If the illuminated ON•OFF key turns off, you have entered a valid code and have followed the correct
procedure for Direct Code Entry. If the illuminated ON•OFF key blinks
four times when the component key is released. This is an indication that a programming error has occurred. In that case, repeat the process from step 2. TIP: Throughout the programming of each key, be sure to keep the remote pointed at the IR sensor of the component you are currently programming the remote to control.
6. To confirm that the TV key is programmed with the correct
code for maximum functionality, test the TV. Attempt to
control a variety of the TV’s functions with the remote. If some of the features of your TV do not work, try programming the remote with a
different code in the list until you find the code that allows the remote to control the majority of your TV’s functions. Different codes can provide
different levels of functionality.
7. Remember to enter the code for future reference.
