If you still have the install disc for your printer, re-insert the disc in your hard driver to repair any corrupted Lexmark printer softwares. You may try the driver from the Lexmark website:
- X7170 driver for Vista 32-bit- X7170 driver for Vista 64-bit
Just bought a Zipp DP605 digital photo keyring and the software isnt recognised on my laptop. We have wwindows Vista.. please help, this is a xmas gift and i want to put photos on!
I got a key ring for Christmas too ...when the keyring is on 'charge' mode it doesnt show on computer ...you have to remove the lead from key ring, switch off key ring then replace lead and switch to 'update' mode. Now if you double click on icon it should work!!!
I have had the same problem, unable to load the small CD for the Praktica Viewpix digital keyring. I have today phoned the support line, and they have given me a separate web address where you can download the driver.
The address is: www.jpsupport.co.uk/praktica/drivers
the correct driver to download is: photoviewer v 2.24.exe
I have downloaded the driver successfully and am about to try and run it, although I am using a virtual pc on a mac so it may be slightly more complicated for me.
You need to make sure the usb cable is in all the way to the viewer. You have to push it hard. No silver showing. Always need the viewer plugged in first before starting the viewer program. After that it is pretty simple.
I had the same problems but solved it by uninstalling the useless POS software, rebooting the computer and reinstalling everything.
I have found that you have to do this everytime that you want to add or delete photos. Probably the worst piece of software I have seen in 15 years of working on computers.
If it won't detect as a seperate drive in "My Computer" then you will have to uninstall it and start again.
There is also no need to format the device. Just ignore it and start downloading photos and it worked straight away. (Using XP Home) As to battery life, I suspect I will never know because it is liable to have a visit from my sledge hammer before it runs out of power.
ya not comp with vista photo viewer is in xp ed not vista have u tryed the website see if they offer u a driver for vista yet dont use cd is your best bet to sp1 for vista come sout in june then most will work
