I cannot put some games in my PSP(3006) 4.21, what will I do?, please help me to my problem.. I really want to play games in my PSP... I ask some technicians to downgrade my PSP all of them said that they cannot downgrade my PSP because there is no software for this.. what the... that's too long to wait.. but this day, March 4, 2009, I went to a mall (Robinson) to put some games in my PSP (3006) 4.21, they put games on my PSP but all of them are only Demos and I have no choice, I have to pay them Php. 300.00... And then when I open folder of the games, I only saw the Eboot.pbp file, where is that for?... is there any way to solve my problem?? UMD is very expensive here in the Phlippines..Almost 2-3k..

Unfortunately, I have the same problem. I bought my PSP 3006 Last week of February. I thought I'll have fun but actually what I get is dissapointments since I confirmed with many technicians that there is no software compatible for my unit. Why does SONY sell PSP 3006 here in the Philippines if they don't want to issue the same software. Please SONY ENTERTAINMENT, solve this problem!!!! Unfortunately, I have the same problem. same here....i really dont like psp's coz they to much to handle and having a psp-3006 evn sucks! technicians here in the phil, says that PSP-3006 model might relased there firmaware mid july! and that sucks! i cant evn use it. and evn tho i sell it no one wants it....can put games! DAMN PSP-3006 i should have a reimburse or something.....coz it is really useless!

I am also pissed because of the same problem... I had PSP (206) and it was great. But it was stolen so I had to get a new PSP which is the 3006 model. And dang it was a pain in the a*s! Somehow though, after several attempts of talking to some techy friends and technicians, the told me that when PSP 1006 (Fat) Model was initially released, It didn't have the capability of having a download option. But now it does. So i am hoping, that it won't take long till someone finds a solution to this problem! I am also pissed because of the same problem... I had PSP (206) and it was great. The laser eye might be dirty try cleaning it if it doesnt work i just replaced my umd holder which includes the laser eye my self. But if you dont know what your doing get someone to fix it.
The firmware you are talking about is a chiped psp, iso and cso games mean that they have been copied and put on the pc so u can play them for free, but there is one problem u need to 'chip' your psp the way u can do this is get 'pandoras battery' and 'magic memory stick' and chip it, do it manualy from help sites on the internet or get a friend thats psp is 'chiped and ask him to chip yours with his battary and memory stick
Actually that always happens with the psp depending on the game you wanna play. I found out that some games take a whole lot of time to load up than other games. For example Mightnight Club 3 takes ages to load up but if you play soduku or Daxter for example it takes a whole lot less. So my sujestion is patience, patience, and more patience.
this happened to me and i think it happens when you play your psp while its charging too much, i got littlebigplanet and i love the game too much. ive been playing it 24/7 (not really) but ever since i started playing it while it was charging, it would do this.
