I have a 40" Sony Bravia KDL 40S100, I was wondering how much it could cost to replace a 40" LCD screen.

My sony tv lcd screen 40 in. has crack

The cost of a new screen for your TV is not cost effective. And you will need to add labor, if someone does this for you. Sorry. Thanks for asking!

Sony bravia kdl 32l4000 - color bars running vertically on screen

In most cases is the screen is covered with vertical lines all the way accross the screen then the T-Con module is at fault. The t-con board is replaceable without having to replace the entire LCD panel which would usually make it cheaper than replacing the TV. The part number I come up with is 1-857-213-11. Please take a moment to rate my answer. Thanks...

The Screen is broken for a Sony BRAVIA KDL-40S2000 40 in. HDTV LCD Television wich is the part number

best bet would be to sell thinde tv as parts on ebay or something. Finding the screen would take a while and it would cost anywhere between $500 to $800. Might as well buy a new tv.

Sony Bravia KDL-40S2000 thin vertical line

If the line is present in all inputs and modes, there is a problem with the LCD Panel. The only way to fix it is to replace the whole LCD Panel which is very expensive (usually around $1000+ for 40" Sony). Unless the TV in under warranty, it is usually around the same price for a new TV.

Complicated Question about repairing circuit board

Broken LCD panel does not affect circuit board behind that panel.
Make sure that other TV should be same model (KDL-40W4100) to swap boards / LCD panel because each model has its special designed boards and cannot be used in different model (if chassis is same, few boards can be used)

The cost of replacing the screen (it is the entire LCD panel) is more than the TV is worth
