Disable lock feature on polycom cx500?

Is there a way to disable the "lock" feature on a Polycom CX500 phone, so you do not have to enter a PIN number to unlock the phone at random times during the day?

SOURCE: Polycom Soundpoint IP 501 - URL call is disabled

This in it's most basic description means that the phone is unable to register with the SIP server, most likely for lack of internet connectivity or a firewall blocking the packets.

If you've verified connectivity and opened the proper ports and the phone fails to initialize and still getting “URL Call Disabled” or all of the above parameters are correct, update the firmware for the router. This can usually be done within the router configuration. Then reboot in order, the cable modem or DSL, the router or switch, then the phone. This may solve the problem.

If still having the same issue, confirm in the router configuration for settings such as SIP proxy, gateway, or application layer or any configuration setting for SIP or VOIP. If any of these do exist, make sure they are turned off as these may only confuse or adversely affect many implementations.

It is not your T1. The T1 only controls the internet, not your local LAN. How old is the phone? It could be a bad phone....What system is it installed on?

SOURCE: polycom SE225: my verizon line provide caller id does not displa

Due to the age of the SoundPoint Pro, it some of its features are not compatible with newer phonesystems, such as CableVision. There are no software updates for the SoundPoint Pro, and as long as the Caller ID is enabled there are no other settings or adjustments that can be made to workaround these kind of problems unfortunately. I recommend contacting your service provider to see what kind of caller ID signaling they are using; most likely they will be using a newer digital system, or MDMF which is not backwards compatible with SDMF or earlier CID receivers.

Ip change cx500

Hi, you can change it doing this:

  • It applies if the storage system is in a domain by itself.
  • If the storage system is the master of a domain, with other members, the master must be changed to another member.
  • If the storage system is a member of a domain but not the master, its needs to be removed from the domain.

Also, check on the router if you are distributing enough IP addresses.

I've founf all such info on this site www.spyip.com , they have forum, where you can find all answers on your question :-))

What is the default password for Polycom Soundpoint IP 320 SIP?

Default Passwords:
To get into the web interface, the default username/password is "Polycom"/"456" (Note that this does not work with Safari 1.2.2.)
To get into the Admin interface on the hard phone, the password is "456". (Prior to v1.3.1, the web interfaces to the phone uses "Polycom"/"SpIp" as the username/password.)
The "user password" (not used much) defaults to "123".

To reset a lost admin password to default: at phone boot, during the 5 second countdown, push/hold 468* on the phone. Enter the phone's MAC address as the password. This will reset network info but keep peers loaded. Tested on Soundpoint IP 650.

How do I conference call on a Polycom Voicestation 400?

Conference call is not a feature of the phone, but a feature of the telephone system in the company. Usually you press a sequence of keys like flash #02 to trigger this function in the phone system. If your company phone system does not offer the feature then you have to use an external conference call provider.

MWI doesn't work on Polycom SE-225

The issue isn't exactly resolved. This appears to be due to an incompatibility of the Polycom Se-225 on our Meridian 1 phone system. But Converse handsets with MWI work fine. I have a partial solution by disabling the lamp (LPD on class-of-service), while leaving MWA setting. This allows the interrupted dial-tone when the user lifts the handset.

Polycom ip501f error, application is not present

Make sure you have the latest BootROM and SIP config files for this polycom(sip.ld, sip.cfg, etc...) on your TFTP server. If you do not have this - download from here - http://www.polycom.com/support/voice/soundpoint_ip/soundpoint_ip501.html

If you do not have a TFTP server, you can download one for free.
