To retrieve your old email data, you need to be able to log into the old email. If you can do this, you can have all the info in that old email account "forwarded to a new gmail address...

Typically the answer to your question is, yes there is a way to contact google, but you won't get your account back. You need to have some way to verify your account and if you never setup any verifications then you won't have access to any to retrieve a lost account.

If you never setup any security questions/ extra email accounts/ attached a phone number to your account/ etc, then you will very likely not get access again. They do this for security reasons. If they can't be sure they are talking to who owns that account, then they won't give you access, and knowing what emails are in the inbox won't help you.

Since you lost your password, you will need to use the Google Accounts recovery webpage to reset your password. NOTE: You will need to answer questions to get back into your account. If your answers don't match up you can't get in.

Point your web browser at http://www.gmail.com

If another account comes up, sign out of it by clicking the avatar in the upper-right then clicking "Sign out."

If you then still can't sign in to your account, click the "Need help?" link on the sign-in page.

Using a web browser on a computer, go to the Gmail sign-in page at http://www.gmail.com and click the "Can't access your account?" link.

Click on the link for lost password, there will be security questions or alternative email account to send you the password reset link
