If this issue started with a motherboard error that appeared to be a faulty CMOS battery and then it started incorrectly detecting your memory and now is asking for a password it could be a faulty motherboard. If you are 110% you or anyone else has set a password on that laptop then I would say your motherboard needs to be replaced. It is a difficult process to reset admin passwords on most laptops due to a security chip that will prevent the trick of removing the battery from working. In all honestly if no one has set a password and the motherboard THINKS someone has then even if you reset the password you will still have issues. There is a small chance your CPU or RAM could be defective. But, again going back to it saying you have a password set that was never set. It just yells faulty motherboard unless someone has set a password without you knowing.

Hello
Well having the Nx5000 and running into the same prob I tryed every thing. And figured it out.
Okay to start off you need to unplug the rtc battery located under the keyboard (Please excuss my spelling im just a 15 yr old that cant spell :P)
Continuing
Its a black and red cord located left of the lan card.
Keep it unpluged for 5 mins then plug back in after that keep the battery out and plug in the ac after that power on and then it atomticly save so put the battery back in and your DONE :)
works 100%.
