How to add Songs on iPhone without a PC & iTunes

One of the few things that disappoint me about the iPad is that Apple's flagship tablet is still, to some extent, dependent on a nearby computer and an open window of iTunes or WinSCP. Bridge is a Cydia app which makes importing files to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch without a computer an easier affair. While there are many apps and tweaks that can get content on your phone, Bridge has a special feature which makes it worth the $1.99 asking price.

We've already covered a number of methods to download programs to an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch without using iTunes. Some of the free methods include OpenSSH (for secure wireless file transfers from a computer), iTransmission 2 (for torrents), and Safari Download Enabler (for downloading links and video files from the web). The problem is that while these apps and tweaks are more than capable of loading music on to your phone, they don't add the files to the Music app. This means you can't make playlists with the songs you've just loaded onto your phone.
That's where Bridge comes in. With Bridge, you can locate the files you've downloaded to your device and properly import them into your library. You can use this to load Songs, Ringtones, and Podcasts for audio files, set album artwork from your photo roll, and also import movies.

The only downside is the music won't be transferred back to your computer by syncing through iTunes. That's not a limitation of the app, but a limitation in iTunes. It wasn't built to transfer user-loaded music to your computer from an iPod. If you ever need to import music to your computer, you can use SSH to copy the music over. The files should be stored in 'var/mobile/media/music'.
Bridge can be found in the BigBoss repository on Cydia. Share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Transfer books from laptop library to my new tablet

What kind of new tablet do you use? If it's an iPad, you are able to download books to iPad directly. Just launch iTunes on your tablet and go to iTunes Store, then search for the book you need and click Get below the book cover.
transfer-books-from-laptop-library-new-oxaxc0rwhkhzilrwacqreyis-2-0.png When you want to download ebooks to iPad, you are able to sync the books with iTunes. Having the latest version of iTunes installed on computer, you are able to connect your iPad to computer with USB and sync ebooks to computer.

After getting the ebooks in iTunes library, you are able to sync the books to iPad easily. The following guidance will show you how to finish the task.
1. Plug iPad into computer via USB, and iTunes will launch automatically.
2. Click the iPad icon and choose Books category in the left sidebar.
3. Check Sync Books and choose All Books or Selected Books.
4. Click Sync at the right bottom to start syncing books to iPad.

After syncing books to iPad with iTunes, you will get the books in the iBooks app on iPad. Now you have an enjoyment. But note that you should shut down auto sync before you sync books with iTunes. To shut down auto sync of iTunes, you need to go to Edit > Preferences > Devices on iPad, and check "Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically".

If you have downloaded or got books from elsewhere, you can add books to iTunes at first, and then sync these ebooks to iPad. To add ebooks from computer to iTunes library, you only need to click File > Add File to Library at the upper left corner of iTunes, and then the ebooks will be added to iTunes Book Library.

Transfer books from Kindle to iPad

You are able to move the books to computer, and then sync ebooks to iPad with iTunes. When the Kindle users connect their Kindle tablets to computer with the USB cable, their computers will recognize their Kindle tablets as external hard drives. Then the users can copy and paste the ebooks from Kindle to computer easily. After that, the users are able to sync the books from computer to iPad with iTunes.

This is easy to be done. But when users begin to sync their iPad with iTunes, they may come up with the sync problems of iTunes. The problem may come up when users sync ebooks from iTunes to iPad. During the sync, iTunes will erase all the non-purchased items in your iPad mini. If you are new to iOS devices, you will probably lose files during the sync with iTunes, so you'd better close the auto sync and manually sync the ebooks to your iPad mini with iTunes. The following tutorial will be helpful if you aren't sure about how to accomplish the task:
  1. Start iTunes and go to "Edit > Preference > Devices", and check "Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically".
  2. Plug iPad into computer via USB cable, and the software will recognize your iPad and display the iPad icon at the upper right corner.
  3. Click the iPad icon and choose "Books" in the summary panel. Choose the books you want to sync to iPad in the list below, and click "Apply" to start.

How to download using IPad

I need more info to help you solve the problem. If you mean you don't know how to download photos and videos from computer to your iPad. Hope this help.
For photo, Plug your iPad into your computer, open the iPad folder go into pictures and all your photos are going to be there. Then minimize that on half the screen, open the photos in your library on your computer and minimize it to the other half if your screen. You can either drag on pic from you computer library to your iPad library; or you can right click on the photo you want, click copy, then place the cursor on the iPod library and right click again, and click paste.
For video, If your video is already mp4 video, you can import the mp4 video into iTunes at first. Connect your iPad to computer through USB cable, iTunes will recognize the iPad automatically, and then go to iTunes menu 'File -> Sync iPad', the video will be transferred to iPad.
If your video is not iPad compatible mp4 video, you can follow this step by step guide to convert and sync the video to your iPad, it's easy to understand and works pretty well for me.
