Archos 405 How do I delete my playlists

    Dear Sir/Madam.

    I have solved my problem by connecting to my computer to my Archos 405 & deleted them frm here. I have not got a instruction manual as mine was accidently burnt. Can you post one or download one. I would be grateful.

Select the m3u file with the 405 browser, press Menu key,choose Delete file and press OK.

It has been infected with a virus. Get an anti virus loaded or get it flushed with one. That will remove it & allow you full access.

The drive of the 405 is formatted in FAT32,so you can´t manage files bigger than 2gb.

Copy and paste the files into the Music folder once you have connected the 405 to the PC via USB and set it in PC mode. Please read the downloadable pdf user guide in ARCHOS main page.

Hi fiona

I had the same problem as the archos web site is not the easiest to navigate.Have you actualy registered the product yet ?if so once logged in add your device as a product,on my products click on the picture of the 405 and that will take you to the screen for downloading archoslink (software to install the tv guide) and to the subscription page for down loading the tv guide.

How ever i have done all this and although i can download the guide i cannot sync it to my 405 so still unable to record off tv....Email gone to archos so fingers crossed....
