Well. i dont know what the hell happened to my casio exilim 10.1 megapixel camera. one day i turned it off. about a hour later tried to use it real quick and it didnt turn on. so i took battery out and charged it to full charge thinking it was just a dead battery. put it back in and now the camera still wont turn on at all. i never dropped it, i always take vary good care of it. its basically in new condition.
Try the following:
1). Check batteries whether they are fully charged.
2). Check with Battery terminal are clean. You can clean them with a ear bud using some alcohol or spirit. Wipe the battery terminal with a clean dry cloth.
3). confirm that the memory car slot/battery cover is securly closed.
4). Reload the battery several times. This will also remove poor contact between camera and battery terminals.
5).Check battery are loaded in the correct direction.
If the probem persists, you might need to take it to the service center.

I was using the camera one day, was working fine, turned it off, about 10 mins later went to use it again and just didn't respond. I've taken the battery and put it back but did nothing, so fully charged the battery to c if that was the problem but it did nothing, the lens is also stuck on the open position.
My camera just started shutting off. I thought it was the battery so I charged it, Now it wont turn on at all!
