Yes if you are getting an error that is the best way. You may want to consider purchasing a larger memory card and copying over the original files onto this new card. Hope that helps you.
1- Turn off unit. 2- press and hold the bottom right corner of the screen. 3-While still pressing and holding bottom right corner, press and hold power button and continue holding both until a white screen appears with a black dot. 4- follow the on screen directions and your unit will be back to the day you first got it.
I have Route 66 symbian series 60 (2005)- and would like to update my mobile benelux 128 mb multi media card-my cellphone is a NOKIA 6600

1. make sure you omnia is connected to the internedt
after insalling the route 66, go to
2. route 66 main menu
3. click on extras
4. scroll down and click on update it will download and update
5 exit and go to extras again
6. now click on MAPs, you will find that Indi map would be seen as unlocked. select and enjoy
I have used many other gps maps in India but find that route 66 for India to be most accurate among them. but please note I was told that THIS IS AVAILABLE ONLY FOR 6 MONTHS ONLY. hope some one lets us know how to extend this.
There is gaps in the mapping in all states....a new version of software is due out soon,there has not been an update for quite some time(over 14months I have heard) There is some suggestion that you can update the operating system and then almost all the other brands of mapping will work??? I like Tom Tom myself it has some fantastic features like being able to play the route in demo mode in a fast speed to see where you are going.And putting in an alternative route,selecting streets with one key touch mode etc etc
