Hi, It almost sounds like the battery won't hold a charge anymore which means you need a new battery. Since the camera isn't quite a year old yet I'd suggest contacting Nikon and seeing if they'll do anything for you before you buy a new battery.

this isn't my area of expertise but if you really wish to play resident evil, go on doperoms.com and go to emulators, choose a psx emulator and then download it then you can download any ps1 roms like resident evil and play them for free on your computer. it doesn't take a powerful computer, these games will run on an iphone 3g, leave a good rating if this helps

So, your Hard Drive Crashed and HP just sent it back. Did you lose all your files? When you say Cam is not clear anymore, did you have to re-install the software? Could you have left anything out during re-install? Does everything seem good in Control panel system. Something is fishy here,It should be working fine. I wish I could help more.

Is the card reader built into the computer?
I know there are a few card readers out there having trouble reading 2 gig memory cards if the computer or card reader was built over 5 years ago.
If you have a data cable for your phone and software for the phone, your computer should be able to read it that way.
