CAN'T FIND THE CODES FOR MY TDE SYSTEMS JUMBO UNIVERSAL REMOTE CONTROL
CANNOT PROGRAM THE TDE SYSTEN=MS JUMBO REMOTE WITH CODES FOR A CITIZEN TV
I have remote model #33201048, which does not have a "code search" button. It also requires a 4 digit code---not 3, as some other models have. My method of finding the correct codes, is as follows.... 1. Turn on the device you wish to program. 2. Push the button ( TV, VCR, DVD,etc.) for the device, you wish to program...the red light will flash...continue holding the button down, until the light comes back on...and remains lit. 3. Point the remote at the device, and push the power button once. 4. The light will begin to flash, every 2-3 seconds, as it tries each code. 5. When the device shuts off, immediately push the button, you pushed to select your device. 6. The light should now go out...and the remote is programmed, for that function. 7. Other devices may be done, by using the same procedure...using the different device buttons.

What kind of system are you trying to use it on??
I found my owners manual for the TDE Systems 8-in-1 Jumbo Universal Remote Item #33201048... The jumbo remote WITHOUT THE CODE SEARCH BUTTON (a Mute button is located at the top left).
It says to "Aim the remote at the device and PRESS AND HOLD the corresponding Device Button. After three seconds the LED indicator will illuminate and stay on. Release the Device Button. Input the first four-digit code in the list of codes."
So instead of a Code search button, just press and hold the TV button, or whatever you are programming, for about 3 secs, then enter the code.
