the simple option is to do the hard reset of the device but before that u hv to take the backup of the device nd remember u can only take the backup of contacts , calendar,tasks nd emails

Try to reinstall Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 and it will work fast.

GO TO HTC.COM N UPDATE UR OS BU UPDATING ROM AND AFTER COMPLETION DO HARD RESET

There isn't one.
If you have Windows XP, Google "Microsoft Activesync", download and install it.
If you have Windows Vista Google, "Windows Mobile Device Center", download and install it.

These free Microsoft applications allow all Windows Mobile phones and PDAs to connect and sync with your Windows PC.
