I have an old box type tv.52inch screen.It has blue and yellow shadows around the images.once or twice I was able to hit the top of tv and clear it,but I have not been unable to clear it since...any solutions..(model rl8530ak06..magnavox)

You probley have bad solder conetions on the boards. Can you fix it maybe if youcan solder and are able to take the tv apart. If you do take it apart be sure to note where all the wires plug into the boards, then you need to look real close for bad conections on the solder side of the boards and resolder them, this all takes a lot of time and patinece. Also the convergance IC could be going out along with some restors that go along with the ICs.
