Cant get the redd green an blue projectors to line up correctly

The tv have a problems known as a convergence problems,it dead.Tv have colors lines R,G,B mis alignments,have colors shadow pictures or 3D pictures look alike?The tv convergence board is dead.The tv convergence board must have replace the 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all of it resistors too.To fixed the tv convergence board to solved the tv convergence picture problems.The shop,will cost u like $300-350 for parts and labors.

After turning on the projector, press "+" and "-" buttons on the control panel

simultaneously for 3 seconds and release the buttons when screen goes blank.

2 Press "+" and "-" buttons again to exit the diagnostic mode.

3While in Self-diagnostic mode, the screen will run a seven-color-cycle test as

following:

Red--> Green--> Blue--> White--> Watchet Blue--> Dark Green--> Yellow.

Ensure that the colors of the test pattern are correct. Contact Dell if the colors are
not displayed correctly.

Check to see if you are using componet cables which are video cables and make sure your red ble and green are in the proper places on the reciever and the tv.

open the back and look into the projectors red blue and green should be clear picture if its blurry need to change the coolant if its not on need to replace the projectors

According to the manual:
1) go to the "TV Main Menu"
2) Select "Screen"
3) Select Adjust Projection TV (obviously only if a projection TV).
This then allows you to adjust the TV's 3-colors. Selecting GREEN CENTERING brings up a control panel that lets you center the green projection tube on the screen. Selecting RED CONVERGENCE or BLUE CONVERGENCE lets you align the Red & Blue projector tubes. Centre the green projector tube 1st. Then adjust the red & blue until the test pattern on the TV screen appers white.

Cover any two of the lamps first and focus the uncovered one. Then be sure to adjust the electrical focus of the same color. Then move to the next one and so forth. At its best you will have to decide which color is off convergence, and that one will be moved a bit out of focus, in this case the optical focus or electrical, tweak and you shall receive. Your described problem is as you suspected, the green is missing. This is a common failure and is technically an easy/quick repair. Almost always, the culprit would be a cold solder or a faulty color drive transistor/IC. They would be located on the small squarish PCB (printed circuit board) at the very rear of the tube. Of course, worst case scenario would be a faulty CRT (picture tube), but that would be least likely.

Corrective measure would then be initially re-soldering above describe solder joints and/or replacing faulty transistor/IC.

Using the on screen menu, check the hue or wall color settings. [Hue]
Varies the color level from +/- green to +/-blue. The red level is used as reference. This adjustment is only valid for
Video, Component and TV standard inputs (not valid for RGB and DVI digital).


Using the Wall Color Correction [Wall Color]
This function allows for quick adaptive color correction in applications where the screen material is not white.
The following nine options are available.
• OFF • Blackboard
• Blackboard (Gray) • Light yellow
• Light green • Light blue
• Sky blue • Light rose
• Pink

covergence problems and its not adjustable you need work done on the convergence board or a new board and realignment which can be timely.

You should test the TV set using a known good source such as a DVD player with RGB outputs to drive the set. If it is good, then this rules out the TV set from being at fault.

From experience, many times I found compatiblity issues between computers and TV sets. The computer's resolution and refresh rate must be set exactly to the TV's capability.
