The LG620g works with microSD cards. Your 4GB card is actually a microSDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it's electronically incompatible and will not work in this phone. You need to use microSD cards, 2GB and smaller.

BIg thing is to make sure that you do not install memory chips larger than what is recommended. Having said that, not all memory is created equal. Some will work, some will not. It is sort of a cr--shoot. Just got 8 gigs and two of the chips would not work on one of my machines but worked fine on another! So if you want to be positively sure it works, stick with the brand mentioned by the device manufacturer.

this is a common problem for most of the phones you just insert the 1 gb card which was given to you with the phone

i had the same problem. so i try whatever i can
- i remove battery, put it back on, turn the phone back on. seems like it works for 3-5 minutes and freeze again
- i remove sim (only ),memory card still in there, and turn the phone back on..let it sit with no sim. and 3 minutes later it freeze again
- i remove sim, remove micro sdhc, reset the phone , the phone automatic restart..it woks... it never freeze ( no sim+ no memory card )
- i put the sim back on, no memory card, turn the phone back on and it works!!!!!!! i try these 2-3 times without memory card. works normal!!!
so..i think its a memory card issue. may be the phone doesn't like it. i have 2gb. kingston. or i have to buy a new card again.
for now its still working without freeze up for shut down by itself.

Solution:

i) let the smaller chip or the memory be in the cell phone,,,,,,,and u will get a cable the connects the          phone or the mobile to the computer usb port(which is on the back side of your computer tower....)

ii) when you connect one end of the cable to the cell phone or mobile and other end(usb end) in to the usb ports....a soon u do this you will get an alert message either in mobile or on the computer, in mobile you select "storage mode...." and as soon u do this ur memory is detected in the computer and u can store anything by cut, copy paste into the memory card or small chip.............

Note: for every mobile or cell-phone specific usb data cables can be purchased from market(every mobile or cell phone has unqiue usb data cable,,,,go to store and mention ur mobile phone model and  ask for the usb data cable......

by using usb data cable there is no need of removing the small chip from mobile phone now and then and easily you can store music on them ......

You will need to format the card or put in a smaller size card

You need to go to your manual and check if this new RAM is on the qualified venders list. Many motherbaords have problems with RAM and are picky about which you put in it even being the same speed and specs. If you dont have the manual , go to thier website, there is a list threr related to your laptop. also make sure the RAM is seated properly in the slot, that also cn cause an err

check how much memory is on the chip, if the memory chip is showing used memory then somethings wrong cuz it aint showing the songs. also when you were on media player did you drag the songs you wanted into the right coluumn and then sync. if you did then call for help or go to place of purchase

You may not put all together the 256 and 512, the system encountered error when two memory are not equal size and not equal brand.

Either you select 2 units 256 memory or either 2 units 512. or use only 1 unit 512 memory so that no freezes will happen.
