Card will not format in motorola razor. "format failed" comes up when I try to format.

You can try formatting on a PC, and try and use it then. Format it FAT32. and it just may work. If NOT it maybe faulty, your phone, may not "Like" that brand of MC,. try another. or the camera itself is faulty.

format it in your friend's computer.

sometimes there are sd card errors make you format failed. you may get messages like

"Unsupported media card inserted, format now?" error in your smart phone,
"Media is not formatted would you like to format now?" error,

... ...

you need to fix sd memory card errors first and them format you sd card.

The most common cause is something might have corrupted the video card and its no longer usable

Acording to motorola, The SLVR L7 is limited to a 1G micro SD card. Anything over this will not be usable in this phone.

if you formatted the card hopefully the pics were not on the phone if so they are all deleted but if they are on the phone look into your phones' gallery and media center.

go to "setting", then move to "phone status"
then click on "storage devices"
u will get 2 option there ,
one would be "memory card" and the other one "phone"
select memory card and then press the menu key
on pressing it u would get a option of Formatting.
select it and u can format the meemory card

Well those old poes have maximum memory support only till 512 mb so try inserting it

try plugging it in a computer and format the card there.

The best way is to do it through your computer
